i was thinking since i cant get my shift knob off. why not just cut my lever 
down about 3 inches and jb weld the new aluminum knob on the remaining shaft. 
instant short throw with a new knob.also no gear grind hassles with 
aftermarket shifters. im doing this friday .ill let you guys know how it 
turns out.
