In a past SCC, there B13 project SE-R never had a short shifter installed.
They said they avoided it because, as mentioned before on the list, the
tranny is cranky when its cold. There is more force required to row through
the gears since the shifter is shorter. If you force the tranny harder when
it's hasnt been warmed up, then it will grind trust me. They thought it
wasn't worth it. This is why i have avoided it in the past.
