Because, of course, famous people in LA have never gotten away with any
crimes.  /sarcasm

The man had sex with an underage girl.  He ran.  He's been "on the run" for
decades.  I'm glad the victim found it in her heart to forgive him.  The law
should not.  If one choses to live their life "on the run" they should not
attend film festivals in countries with extradition treaties with America.
