Theres power, 120 volts, there's a thermostat, there's the gas/electric
switch, there's the heating element, and there's some wires. Odds are
its the element, thermostat, or switch, but check all with a voltmeter
and ohmmeter (with power off) and the problem should be identified.
There's not a perfect guarantee that there can't be more than one
problem.

Guess I wasn't paying attention to the earlier notes on this...is this =
A/S new to you, or have you had it for awhile and the fridge stopped =
working on AC?
When I got mine a year ago, had the same problem, and found that the =
fridge was not plugged into the receptacle ('76 Sov). Kind of hard to =
get to, but it was up behind the fridge on the outer wall, and I had to =
reach up through the outer door and feel the plug in.
Might check to see if that is the problem, or if the plug vibrated =
loose. Other than that, I'd check to see if there is AC (with a meter) =
at the entrance to the fridge. That might narrow the search down a bit.
Apologies if this is completely off the wall.
