With each person that shares the back problems, I think it draws us all
closer together, having something in common that's very real and very tough
to deal with at times. I've been hold out saying anything, not liking to
complain, but it's to the point now that if I kept quiet any longer I'd
literally explode.

So here's a first-hand understanding of what y'all are going through. Been
there since age 16, still movin' on. Some of the suggestions, like firm
matresses, work for some yet not for others. Since I started sleeping in my
own bed again (was on the hide-a-bed due to a guest) I've noticed we're not
compatible anymore. I get the best sleep, believe it or not, in a waterbed,
something I could never stand before.

Stretching excersises help me get out of bed in the morning, every day.
WIthout them, well, let's just say my 104 year old grandfather walked
better. <grin> Overall I think for some pain is a fact of life and we just
keep pushing forward regardless. I just keep reminding myself that I'm not
a 'cripple', that I can stand, walk and do things -most- of the time.

Keep taking the advice from others and experiment. Something will work for
you.

Drugs, therapy, cortisone, epidermals, surgery, chiropractors, etc. etc.
Been there, done that, still moving on.
