When the OGB voted to create it without the final editorial authority that
had already been vested in the website review committee, the main proponent
declared that he refused to accept our decision was valid, that the OGB had
no right to modify a proposal - only accept or reject it, and resigned his core
contributorship in all other communities in protest, and as I recall, we were
told all the other proposed community members agreed that they did not want the
community group under those terms, so it was left to die stillborn.

Absolutely agree.

That was the intent of the OGB but was deemed not acceptable by the proposed
community members, so instead we continue having no one actively working on
the content. At this point, given how little we've accomplished as a board,
I'd be happy with giving up the board, merging the people on the board into
a proposed website CG, and moving on, if that's what it takes to get the
website CG to be willing to work with us.

Sorry - obviously I don't pay enough attention to the org chart, and just
assumed your role put you in a different organization than the website
engineering.
