I repeat (again), please keep the politics off the list. The URL I pasted (http://webs.racocatala.cat/valencian/) is a mere description of facts. If you think any of these facts are untrue, say so and explain why. > The classic books in valencian (s.XV) follow an ortography very similar to > RACV... Haven't you heard, the middle ages are over. Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition ;-) Anyway, the king hasn't said any such silly thing on this matter (unlike other matters, but that is way off-topic). Giving the "royal" title to an organization doesn't automatically imply everything they do or say is correct. They could as well ruin their royal credibility by proposing insane theories. And in fact, they did. But that was 30 years ago, and the world has moved on. > the local government (Generalitat) Wait, didn't you admit that Valencian government uses the "official Valencian"? Dammit, the progress we made before is lost! So you say the Generalitat is using RACV's language? Where is that? Schools perhaps? Traffic signs? [1] Internal documents? [1] yeah I know the story of a rogue mayor of a small village who had RACVish used for one traffic sign somewhere, please don't give me that... > [...] the ideology of Robert is clear enough I haven't said a word about my ideology. I'm merely stating facts. It is you who's been trying to turn this into a discussion about politics, history and literature, which I haven't and won't be discussing. -- Robert Millan The DRM opt-in fallacy: "Your data belongs to us.
