On my computer, I do see it. (Windows 7, Windows Explorer, down below ...) Besides, Bruno can hardly be responsible for what YOU can or cannot do!

The picture on Brunos website contains the same metadata and therefore contains the attribution! Hartwig From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ludovic Péron Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2013 1:35 PM To: Wikimedians in Switzerland Subject: Re: [Wikimediach-l] (no subject) Hi Thomas, Just one point, for other I think other people could ask. You say Please embed licensing information in the metadata!!! Images intégrées 1 I invite you to see with jpg. It's a screanshot of the Wikimedia Commons page of this picture. Thanks. Ludovic 2013/10/16 Hartwig Thomas <[email protected]> To cite another example: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Rencontres_Wikimedia_France_-_Intervention_de_Ludovic_P%C3%A9ron.JPG states clearly, that the license is CC-BY-SA, but – very unfortunately indeed – it does not unambiguously attribute the authorship!! Or does “user” mean “copyright owner”??? So how can one make use of WMCH content, if it is not attributed decently in the Wikimedia repository? Whenever the license CC-BY-SA is used, an unambiguous attribution must accompany it. Otherwise it is to be assumed, that the copyright owner has relinquished the attribution to Wikimedia. Please embed licensing information in the metadata!!! Hartwig Thomas From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ludovic Péron Sent: Wednesday, October 16, 2013 1:01 PM To: Mailing list for Wikimedia CH Subject: [Wikimediach-l] (no subject) Hi, I found this web <http://www.bjinstitute.org/newsmessage/reprostationen-des-bj-institutes-fuer-wikipedia/10a20af93816783eefe8480b92b9f042/> page on the web site of BJ Institute. Problem : This image is a CC By SA photography on Commons and the credit is wrong (good credit : Charles Andrès - CC By SA). Seeing this on the website of one of our partners, which happens to be run by one of our board members, makes me especially concerned about our credibility. Me, and some other volunteers of WMCH, spend many times to explain how to use correctly free contents. We are discussing with nationals media, with some schools, etc. We (and WMCH) loose our credibility if our contacts see this web page. So, thanks you to make correction very quickly. And I think it's necessary that our regular partners will be blameless about copyright. May be it's possible to make internal workshops. I am available for that.
