Blue Hills Trail report...

Thanks to the 7+ inches of heavy snow from Wednesday's storm, conditions were good today (Friday, Feb. 22) skating on freshly groomed packed powder.  Skiers today agreed the trail was soft (lots of freshly groomed snow), but "sure beats skiing on rocks."  The striding lane is in very good shape.

Almost all of the trail system has been cleared of leaning trees & windfalls resulting from Wednesday's heavy snow.  Except for the most distant loops on the EastSide, the entire trail system was groomed (rolled and track set) by Friday afternoon (Feb. 22).  Grooming will hopefully be completed Saturday morning -- kudos to our groomer.
