* We already record thermals, but there is no GoTo option for them
* I guess a button "Convert to Waypoint" for the markers might be a good idea
* Where do we save the waypoint?

* We have that already, don't we? You don't even have to open the
waypoint details since the map item list can include the distance and
bearing to the tapped location.

I don't think that would be useful. I guess it will lead to more
confusion instead of helping anyone.
