Wonderful story. Man, it must have put you through a ringer, having to do as
you did. Bodhisattvas don't have it easy, I tell you.

For your good work, have yourself a Singha!, and Dim Sum, and give Batman (the
long-eared Buddha) a treat, too, please? Maybe Dim Sum. ;-)
