toggle button/link saying "Switch to Audio" or something like that. Once
you click on that you're presented with a link to "Play Audio."
I have noticed that it's difficult to locate the edit box after clicking
the play

[Tab] once and you should be placed in the Toolbar. Then you simply
use the left and right arrow keys to navigate to each toolbar entry
and hit [Enter] or [Spacebar] to activate it.

All parts of Defender was much easier to use in prior versions of
Windows. Also was much easier to take actions on individual files
deemed to be viruses, but are not. Creator's Windows Defender just
assumes every file it sees as "Suspicious" as a threat.

Ah! That's what trusty Windows Narrator is for. Next time you find yourself
being given the silent treatment by your PC, try pressing [Windows
Key]+[Enter] to launch the Windows Narrator screen reader. Has saved my butt
