There is a further lack of clarity as to the employer of the spectropists. Were they GEN3 subcontractors with no affiliation to Harvard CfA who were permitted to use its facilities, perhaps by renting a machine for a short period of time? The careful wording of the preamble to the report leaves open a range of possibilities. Eric
