I think that motivates most of us here on this list? The question is how
open-minded one is. Logic can be found in stuff that makes little sense
to you right now. An electric circuit makes perfect sense for you and me
(not the analogue one though! :P) but it does not make much sense to a
guy from the stone age because of his limited perspective.
In order to get a bigger picture understanding we will most likely have
to accept weird logical stuff.
Eckhart Tolle has nothing to do with Campbell and his theory but he
writes EXACTLY the same thing. So do hundreds of other people without
knowing anything about each other.

It's just nice to have a scientific/logical framework which lets you
understand all the stuff people like Tolle are writing.
I guess that's enough metaphysics for this year ... my point was just
that AGI will most likely be aware of all of this and act accordingly
and most of our expectations and extrapolations might turn out to be the
product of a very naive/narrow perspective. ;-)
