Perhaps its an access hole for the flex plate to torque converter bolts. Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> That is exactly what it is. The hole is actually in the engine oil pan, which is designed to reinforce the trans/engine connection. The hole should have a rubber plug in it. It's not a huge problem that it's missing, but it's probably best to keep physical debris out of that area. Moved from the Hawk HP+ as it is cold now and no need for high performance pads and all the dust that goes with it. I'm about to remove the brake kit and go back to stock for winter and the only pads I have for the stock brakes are Metal Masters, I have a feeling I'm gonna hate 'em but at this point I'm not about to spend any money on brakes that I'll only use in the winter.
