Things have changed for the better! IIRR it cost us GBP 8 for a
'round trip' on the Anderton Lift in 1978 - before the closure and
rebuild.

We went down one morning it, up the Weaver. moored in the Vale Royal
cut for lunch, then back up the Lift in the afternoon.
