Personally, I would try to explore as many "natural" solutions or
suggestions....

My wife has had a few long battles on many different types of
anti-depressants, anti-anxiety....etc.

Some people seem to have more positive "normal" results, but in some
cases, the person becomes psychologically addicted to them and will do
anything to get a bit of relief even if there is a short term effect
to the solution.

We just went through hell in the spring, my wife was hospitalized for
close to 4 complete months.. she had to be detoxed a couple of times
during that period because of massive withdrawls.. Some meds that are
used for anti-anxiety are opiuts (I think it's properly spelled), in
the same family as Heroine. So the withdrawl is insane.

Years ago, I was very depressed and could never quite "fit" anywhere I
was (that's a way of saying it)... I was a drinker from an early age
and I got in some pretty weird situations...

:-)

Anyways, I got pretty sick of myself and alot of others got sick of me
too.. not only for being depressed but for being an ass. Hehe.

Alcohol kicked my ass!

When the cops are around alot, and people start suggesting AA and
detox (and end up there eventually) and when somebody has that look on
their face, like "here comes that son of a...."...

I ended up in AA and detox... started taking suggestions on how to
change some things in my life and "it" got better. Been a long time.

Life's been good to me since.

I would assume that some kind of therapy would help a bit, I've gone
to sessions with my wife as a couple and when you find someone who
seems to actually care about you, I've found it helped.

Best wishes Isaac,

Yves
