I never implied that unhealthy stock should be bred from - of course they
shouldn't but one has to weigh the health defect against the advantages that
dog or bitch might have. For example I would use a dog with late onset who
developed a murmur at say nine or ten if he had all the attributes that I
wanted for my bitch
I was commenting on the indiscriminate buying of unrelated bitches which in
my opinion is not the way to start breeding - type is lost. From what I have
seen and heard health appears to be the priority whereas I think it should
go hand in hand with type
