Pam I am thinking of a certain Wheaten breeding that blew up and truly affected the breed. The daughter of a particular dog--this dog was also her maternal grandsire--this daughter was then bred back to her sire( this was a great sire) but believe me those recessive genes were killers. It was too much of a good thing and you know what most of the breeders did not see it and continued on breeding to this dog--Yikes Janet
