Opened #12338 as a standalone fix for the REST startup failure seen in this PR: https://github.com/apache/seatunnel/pull/12338 I reproduced Hazelcast discovery connecting to the fixture’s HTTP port. The fix disables discovery only in this single-member REST test and adds an explicit isolation assertion; it does not change production discovery or increase timeouts. All six REST tests and 18 unchanged execution-service tests passed on Java 11, with scoped module verification and formatting checks passing. The new PR includes the reproduction, controls, validation limits, and overlap with #11868. It is based directly on dev and does not replace this CDC reporting PR. Once merged, we can sync it here and rerun the affected unit job.
