The new bacon cookers clean up very easily because they are now coated with
nonstick and dishwasher safe. I add a little olive oil to turkey bacon for
extra taste.

I had a bacon cooker that was for the microwave.  It worked fine, but it was
very difficult to clean.
It may be different for regular bacon, but I eat turkey bacon, andI put a
paper towel on a microwave safe plate put two strips of turkey bacon on the
towel, put a paper towel over it and cook it for about 1 minute 35 seconds.
I have an 1100 watt microwave oven.
