The new bacon cookers clean up very easily because they are now coated with nonstick and dishwasher safe. I add a little olive oil to turkey bacon for extra taste.

It worked fine, but it was very difficult to clean. It may be different for regular bacon, but I eat turkey bacon, andI put a paper towel on a microwave safe plate put two strips of turkey bacon on the towel, put a paper towel over it and cook it for about 1 minute 35 seconds. I have an 1100 watt microwave oven.
