Very interesting.  Perhaps they are some type of "alias" settings.
I, too, used the same settings Earthlink originally provided three years ago
and had no problems until earlier this week.  I agree with you: I wouldn't
change any settings until a situation warrants it--which was exactly what
happened in my case.  (I wonder if Louise was ever able to receive her
e-mail to consider our recent posts.)
