For example some integers, even enormously large integers, are easy to factor (like 2^N), but if you add or subtract just one bit it can sometimes become astronomically hard to factor, or it might even be prime and be impossible to factor. And even in Newtonian physics if a Comet gets close to Jupiter a very small uncertainty in its position at that point can lead to huge uncertainty in its future orbit, that's why we can trace Halley's Comet back to 466 BC but no further.
