Ken,

You can reinstall just the fonts from the CD, but given the anomalies you are describing, you'd probably be better to reinstall everything on both computers. Don't forget to download and install the 2k2 maintenance updates as well. (I think 2k2c was the last maintenance update?)

Thanks to all for the quick response. In answer to your questions, I think I'm doing everything by the book: yes, there are notes in the measure I'm copying, yes I drag until the dark outline appears and the pointer is in the new bar, yes, "Copy Everything" is selected, as is "Copy and Replace." All the default settings. So I understand from David's comment that the problem is not unheard of. Shift/Ctrl-clk does indeed work, so that's good to know.

I remembered that I also have F2002 installed on my desktop, also XP Pro, so I decided to try it there, but when I opened the prgram and started a score there seems to be some font error - I'm getting book icons instead of clefs, and all sorts of gibberish in the staves. Any idea what's going on there - can I reset the font? I work almost exclusively on the laptop since that's where all my MIDI is, but still . . .
