G'day from Oz, Chris If America On Line are anything like their company here called Australia On Line, then you're paying way too much for net access.
My current provider (56k,v90), costs me about half of AOL, and I've calculated that I can get DSL (512/256) for about the same price as my second line and isp costs me. I'll be changing over asp, but the modem is the killer. In Oz, the Macs need Ethernet modems, which cost about $400 Aus. to buy (including altering the local telephone exchange for DSL) However, if you download heaps (300-1000 meg per month), the DSL is very, very handy.
