If you are manually starting Classic, then it makes sense why you kept stopping it. Just set Classic to start automatically when an application needs it. Then never think of it again. If you run a Classic app, and Classic isn't running, it will start and then the application will launch. If Classic is already running, the application will just launch with no delay.
