Hey pal, I am responding to remarks. Yours was ignored? Sorry. Guilt trip? Why should I care one wit if you feel guilty? Your emotions do not change this situation a bit.
My replies were in response to strong suggestions that these people have their aid cut off. They naively stated that the aid in itself was the problem...as in, if your knee is shot out and that stops you from walking, do not get it fixed, lop off the leg. Pay so much all America will feel the loss? Wow, that will be the day, won't it? Pretty extreme. In fact, ridiculous. *Utterly* ridiculous. How did we go from cut off their $400 a month (less than food stamps pays per person in the rest of this country) to sacrifice enough to cause > * > > > > EVERY SINGLE AMERICAN TAXPAYER POOR, MODEST, > > > MIDDLE AND HIGH INCOMES THROUGH CORESIVE TAXES > > > > * ???? GO back and read the first post, then come on back and rip me the new one...but remember your caps lock in on first. Did I ever suggest anything except to keep the contract they presently have and offer more educational opportunities? If I did, show me. I have met a wall of 'Oh my, aid is bad bad bad and it should be stopped'. When I informed that this would mean taking food from people who can not even afford the simple necessities of life due to their placement in the harshest place i have ever seen, I get the 'so what? it will be better than AID!' speech. So keep the 'come off it' speech...it means zero to me what you think. You want to be right? Go live there a year and see if you can help out. It'll be an education for ya...THEN come on back and tell me how wrong I am. YA know what troubles me about this theory? The 'fuck anyone who it hurts' clause. You are talking human beings. Do any of YOU have trouble putting food on the tables for YOUR 10 grandkids cause mommy and daddy drank themselves dead, went to jail or skipped out?
