Plus the abstracting to levels 'above' plug-ugens allows for different
kinds of musical thinking.  I love RTcmix's parse language (score language)
because of the algorithmic-composition capabilities it opens up.  It would
be much more difficult if it also had to encompass lower-level DSP specification
along with larger 'musical shape' abstractions.
