There has not been enough room for all of the replies and responses in the newsletter for the past several days. It is really great to have so much participation in this group. Please be patient in getting your response posted. It may take 3-4 days to get all message posted that have come in to the Recipe Exchange Newsletter. There just hasn't been enough room to post them all. ================= Mexicali Mix 2 quart popped popcorn 4 cups corn chips, any flavor ( we like Chili Cheese flavor) 1 cup pretzels ( I use mini pretzel twists) 1 cup canned french fried onions 1 cup Spanish peanuts 1/4 cup margarine 3 TBS taco seasoning Combine popped corn chips, pretzels, onions and peanuts in two 15x10x1 inch pans. Melt margarine and pour evenly on popcorn mixture. Sprinkle with taco seasoning. Bake in a 300° oven for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Store in airtight container. I hope you can use these. Merry in Vernon TX === BANANA FRENCH TOAST 1 c. eggs 1- 1/2 c. milk 1 lg. banana, cut up 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 2 - 3 tbsp. sugar or 1 tbsp. honey Blend ingredients until smooth. Soak bread. Bake on hot oiled griddle until golden. Pour cinnamon syrup over toast. Simply bring to a boil 2 cups maple syrup and 2 cinnamon sticks.
