Bob, my experiance is that operators do not care about
scale or gauge (I'm Sn2 and have assembled crews).
Operators just want a good time.

That said having operators is a matter of cultivating
a crew, which means cultivating relationships. So, you
may first need to get to know and operator with others
in your location.

As you probably know, cultivation does not occur over
night. It's like dating...You must invest time and
resources. You must reciprocate and be involved with
others, either by operating with them or helping them
on their layouts (non-S). Consider joining the OpSIG,
attending local/regional opsig events, join the NMRA,
volunteer for the NMRA, join operations oriented
yahoogroups.

You larger than average scale may work to your
advantage...It should be easier to operate.

As I mentioned, they want a "good experiance". To make
a good experiance, you need to make your layout user
friendly and have an operating scheme that works...

Good luck...
