As for myself, I have been a confirmed diesel modeler since I started in model railroading way back in the 1960's. Just recently, I put in an order for one of Don's great B&O 2-8-0's -- it is such a great model that I just could not resist. Now Don and Bob are trying to tempt me to purchase more of those old-time steamers -- I must retreat to the basement, fire up the DCC and calm my nerves with the soothing sound of EMD 567's.
