Would a big, honkin' open hole in the pilot like old Flyer be preferable?

Don't forget, the bulk of the S market has a Flyer/Hirail/Tinplate(whatever you 
want to call it) slant.  AM had to put a slot in the pilots to accomodate this 
larger segment of the S market.

Even the opening in the SHS F-units passenger pilots are oversized without 
modifying the inserts in order to acomodate a Flyer compatible coupler.

Perhaps, we "scalers" should just e-mail Lionel and tell them not to bother 
with us...  Go away, we don't need or want you...  After all, only we "scalers" 
know how to truely model railroad...

I for one, am looking forward to the U33C.  From what I've seen in photo's, it 
looks to be a fine model, swinging pilots notwithstanding.

If you guys don't want them, there will be more for me!
