Have you ever thought that this is their test market engine and if enough are sold they will veture deeper into the scale side. Quit complaining about the little things that you can fix by doing it yourself. That's what I said, If you want scale parts for them you may jst have to make them yourself. The High Rail engines and cars will sell. Lionel does not have the tooling that you want them to have. Send them some money and see what happens. Just my thoughts Thanks, alan

Putting scale wheels on a toy loco is not making a serious attempt to build an S scale loco and they should know that. They are just hoping to pick up some low hanging fruit from those desperate enough to go for their scheme.
