Real matter is to find PC with such drives : I never saw one ! I think only

SBasic compilers always were (are) for me a mystery on SMS : TT told me
there is no gain compiling a SB program except the size in ram (because
there are two versions of source in memory), and in most case I notice it's
true (when compiling programs on PC gives x5 speed over interpreted). Why ?

Turbo Basic (486 processor) is much faster than the equivalent on QPC2 (wich
is twice fast as an Aurora board ...)

Such an approach is the only way to get acurate computing with QDOS/SMS up
to 9 digits : for most purpose (I mean : when you expect that 1 and 1 is 2,
not 1.999/2.1 or something else) floating point number is nonsense.
PROCs and FNs like IDEC$() and LPUT/LGET are very useful in this respect.
As long as you don't use decimal places you can consider that reals in
SBasic are long integers (even if they always have a two bytes mantissa)

found on DJ's web page is fast (for QL hardware) : on QPC2 it takes less
than 20seconds to display a 200k file. Compared (not a criticism) to PhotoQL
v0.18 (from Roberto Porro) found on Thierry Godegroy'site it is 5 or 6
Personaly I think QPC2 and Q40 are both importants. But considering the lack
of production, QPC2 is nowaday the only way to upgrade your QL (and have
