Hello all, Does anyone need to convert a bunch of files from FrameMaker to
InDesign, retaining 98% of layout, all index markers, graphics and possibly
cross-references? I have just completed a project like that and can take on
another one. Please, contact me off-list. Michael

FrameMaker vs InDesign book files

2010-02-28 Thread Michael Zaichenko

I personally use File > Package... feature. It makes a duplicate of all files
incl. the book itself and changes all links automatically. Plus you can specify
whether you want the graphics and fonts copied as well.

Is that what you are trying to do?

 Hi Steve,

I thought maybe scripting could come to the rescue, since InDesign has a lot
of scripting choices (AppleScript on Mac, VBScript on PC, JavaScript on
both). My thought was to write a script that would loop through the
duplicated book's files and point them to the files in the duplicated
folder. Unfortunately, the fullName property for each book component is
read-only so you can't programmatically change it.

By the way, the paths to each component in a FrameMaker book are actually
stored internally as absolute, but when you open the book, FrameMaker
resolves the paths, and treats them as relative, if possible. This is how
paths to imported images and external cross-references are handled as well.
With FrameMaker, these path properties are fully writeable, which means you
can change them with FrameScript or an FDK client.

You can see an example of how this can be beneficial for imported graphics
 here:

 http://frameautomation.com/2010/02/23/managing-imported-images-solution

A similar thing can be done for FrameMaker books, especially large books
with complex numbering or pagination requirements. Say that you want to
duplicate the book but use it with a set of components with different names.
You want to use the same book because you spent a lot of time getting the
component numbering and pagination for each set up just right. You would
 follow this procedure.

 1) Duplicate the book and put it in the new folder.
 2) Run a script that extracts all of the book paths into a spreadsheet file.
 3) Open the spreadsheet file and edit the paths to point to the new
 components.
 4) Run a companion script to update the book's component paths to those
 specified in the spreadsheet.

All of the components will have the properties as originally specified in
the original book, even though they point to different components. The
assumption here is that the new book has the same number of components in
the same positions as the old book. But even if there are slight
differences, changing them by hand after you use the scripts will still be
less work than building and configuring a new book from scratch.

This method can also be used to update a book after you move or rename its
 components.

I also have a similar script that allows you to change external
cross-reference paths with an Excel spreadsheet.

Here is an issue that just caught me out, so I'm posting it here in case
it's of use to anyone who uses both apps.

When versioning books in FrameMaker, I duplicate the entire enclosing folder
and then create an alias to the book file in the copied folder. This is a
 common operation.

The alias is a red herring here, but when you duplicate a book's enclosing
folder in InDesign, open the book file in the duplicate and from there open
a chapter file in the book, InD opens the *original* chapter file and not
the corresponding chapter file in the duplicated book. This is because InD's
references to files in a book are absolute and not relative: this can be
confirmed by hovering over the chapter name in the book file. This is
potentially very confusing for people who use both applications. The only
way around it in InD that I can see is to delete and recreate the book file
after duplicating the book's enclosing folder.

This has just landed me with a bit of a version control headache that I had
to sort out by hand. There's nothing about book versioning that I can see in
InD's help (CS3), and although Kvern and Blattner ('Real World InDesign 2')
touch on this in relation to individual chapter files, no thought seems to
have been given to versioning entire books. As FrameMaker uses relative file
pathnames, its operation is completely different: duplicating a book's
folder and then opening the book file in the duplicate accesses the chapter
files in the *duplicate* also, as most folks here will know. I find
FrameMaker's approach much more logical, but maybe InD is bound by the
operation of InCopy or some other part of the Adobe stable.

Something to watch out for. I guess I should be posting this to an InD
group, but I'm not on any.

Disobedient hyperlinks

2010-02-16 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hello Framers,

here is what I'm trying to accomplish:

1. Create a pop-up menu of hypertext commands
2. Create a pop-up submenu of hypertext commands
3. Execute a script from the menu.

Example:

Ocean (menu)
Sea water (item - exec script)
Sea plants (item - exec script)
 Sea animals (submenu)
   Whales (item - exec scipt)
   Sharks (item - exec script)

All is going well and I'm getting things to pop up correctly. Scripts run Ok on
the first level of items - Sea water and Sea plants but when I get to Sea
animals, I do get a popup of items - Whales and sharks but the script won't
run. I checked the links and names and these are in order. I tested links from
a reference page where they are described and the script is running fine if you
Alt+Ctrl+Click on hypertext in the reference page. However when you are on the
Body page and try to run the above scenario the script won't execute.

What am I doing wrong here.

DRAG-N-DROP with FrameScript

2010-01-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hello Framers,

Recently was scripting a palette, using eForm and eListBox objects. While these
were handy and one can do multi-selections and run sub-routines at a click or
double-click, I came across something which I was not able to solve yet. If I
want to move an item from one list into another, I have to create an additional
button or script around a double-clicking on an item to get items move. I was
wondering if anyone has ever scripted some sort of a drag-n-drop with
FrameScript.

FMTOOLBAR

2009-01-10 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hello everyone, if anyone knows Dan Hall's e-mail, please relay the below to
him. I couldn't find his address (d...@cooper.com doesn't work).
Thanks in advance.

Michael

Hello Dan,

I read your post on customizing FrameMaker toolbars
and I need your advice. My toolbar is also mega customized and I'm
running majority of frame scripts directly from FM interface. Now,
recently I decided to make an even more customized bar. So I added a
.bmp (80x16 px) to my fmcustom.dll file and then changed the syntax in
the fmtoolbr.ini file to this resource with an event attached to it.
What I get is that the button does appear and it is 80x16 px but... the
image that is on the button appears only 1/3. I.e. the button resource
says custom button and I only can see cust in the FrameMaker. The
button works fine otherwise. I tried changing the .bmp to 16 bit and
even 4 bit color scheme but this didn't have any effect. Do you know
what I might be doing wrong?

BUTTONS in FRAMEMAKER

2009-01-09 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hi Framers,

So here is another toughie. I'm modifying the QuickAccess bar in FrameMaker and
have added new bitmaps to the .dll file. I modified the FMToolbr.ini file and
I'm getting the buttons to appear in FM correctly with only one but... Though
the button appears the size of the bitmap in the .dll file the image that is on
it doesn't display correctly, i.e. I can only see a quarter of an image. Does
anyone know why and how to handle it?

Any suggestions are welcome.

Does anyone know what is the syntax for sin and cos function in FrameScript?
I'm trying to draw a curve based on sin(x) function but it doesn't seem to be
available in FrameScript.

Ideas?

RE: EXTENSIS USERS?

2008-11-14 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Frame does see fonts manually activated from Suitcase, that is not the issue.
What I would like to resolve (but I guess with Frame it is not quite possible)
is the auto-activation of the fonts used in specific products. I.e. I have
multilingual production and different fonts are necessary to operate them -
though they have the same names, they are using different maps (the first
reason why I turned to Extensis, because good old ATM wouldn't cut it at all
without removing fonts and putting new ones.) So in InDesign (as an example)
Suitcase activates fonts based on the file I open - i.e. if I open Czech file -
fonts from Czech folder get active. As I open Greek file - greek fonts get
active and the Czech ones get de-activated because they have the same names. Do
you follow?

The application plug-ins are for auto-activation.
One can still activate required fonts manually in Suitcase.
Older programs may require a restart before they will see the fonts; newer
programs should recognize the new fonts after a second or two.

EXTENSIS USERS?

2008-11-13 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hello Framers,
does anyone have any experience working with Extensis Suitcase for Windows and
integrating it with FrameMaker?
I'm on XP SP3, FM 7.1. Extensis Suitcase 11.
It works fine with InDesign and Illustrator but FM seems beyond its reach yet
and so is Photoshop.

Any suggestions?

If you're using it to avoid font substitutions, it's unlikely to work
with FM because FM does its own font substitutions (which you can
control by editing the maker.ini file) and I think Suitcase tries to
work at the OS level --- so it's unlikely to know what's happening
 inside each application.

ADVANCED QUESTION

2008-10-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko

Hello all,

i have an advanced question. Does anyone know how to control mouse pointer in
FrameMaker. FM has its own mouse pointer set up i.e. it displays different
pointer depending on an object selected. I would like to expand this to custom
made objects - i.e. give a cursor different appearance when it is hovered over
a specific type of an object.

Ideas?

 Hi Michael,

You might be able to use a resource editor like XN Resource Editor to change
the cursors. Make sure you back up any FrameMaker resource files before
 changing them.

2 versions of FM 7

2008-10-15 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello all,
probably this question was already answered elsewhere, I just couldn't find a
reference. I need to install 2 different versions of FM 7 on the same machine -
build b023 and another build p116. Reason for this is that I have a language
patch for b023 and it doesn't exist for p116. When I put both builds on my
computer - one of them (whichever installed earlier) would not work and an
error message would appear saying that the resources are not matching the
serial number I inserted. I heard there is a way of doing this - putting 2
frames on the same registry but can't recall where I saw it.

Can someone help?

VIETNAM INDEX

2008-10-10 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello all,

I'm having fun generating index for a Vietnamese manual and I could use some
help. Actually... HELP!!!
For those who is not familiar with vietnamese - the alphabet contains 18
letters A with all manner of accents, 12 letters E and about same for O and U -
so obviously we can't talk about normal $alphabetics on the reference page. I
set up reference page with the whole sequence of letters as they would need to
appear by alphabet and Frame does generate index in a correct sequence. Ref.
page looks something like that: AaĀāĂ㥹 Bb Cc Dd ĒēĔĕĖė Ff Gg... etc.
Now, the problem is that for some reason FrameMaker thinks that some letters
are identical to each other and sorts them as if they were the same so you
would end up with

tổn thương:sự kiệt sức và
tổn thương:sự tái kích thích của

sorted as:

tổn thương, 15
sự kiệt sức và, 90, 54

the way I noticed something was wrong was that the page numbers appear out of
sequence. Checked and saw that two totally different entries sorted as one.

Has anyone run into doing this kind of stuff?

Can someone help?

yesterday's digest (from Milan D)asking about an unanswered post from you
regarding pasting Greek characters into Frame dialog boxes (indexing in your
case, I think). I had a similar post some time ago and one of the
responses I got suggested that tho the characters would appear in the dialog
box as gibberish, Frame would render them properly if I let it proceed.
The doc I was working with was so short and I had already fixed the few

FW: ACTIVATING FONTS

From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: RE: ACTIVATING FONTSDate: Sun, 7

Dear Dov,thanks for such an extensive answer. I had no idea. What handles it so
far is de-activating, activating a set. Then it gets picked up by Frame too. I
probably will set it up so when i add font it is not activated and then click
activate and all will be good. Do you think its a good idea to go with extensis
or is ATM a prefered font manager? Michael

Date: Sat, 6 Sep 2008 18:06:57 -0700 Subject: RE: ACTIVATING FONTS
Michael, Contrary to what you may believe, FrameMaker has no
autoactivation option it it. Like other Windows applications, when a font
is added to the system, via Windows' standard Add Fonts control panel
option or via ATM (or for that matter any font manager that properly
interfaces with Windows), Windows' underlying font system sends a message to
all open applications advising of a change in the font system. An
application may then choose to query the system for all available fonts
(font enumeration). If adding a font via Extensis Suitcase does not
properly get notification to applications about the change in the available
fonts, it is likely an issue with Suitcase. By the way, you are misusing
the term autoactivation. The term autoactivation would refer to the
 scenario whereby your document (i
n this case, a FrameMaker document) refers to a font that isn't currently
installed on your system. Autoactivation would cause the font manager to
look for the desired font in its own private collection of available, but not
installed fonts, and if such a font was available, automatically and
immediately install that font on the system and advise the application of its
availability. For better or worse, such an autoactivation capability
normally requires cooperation (i.e., a programming interface) with the
application programs that could make use of same. Neither FrameMaker nor ATM
support any autoactivation mechanism. - Dov -Original

ATM only allows 1 version of a font (plus adds a confusion if you install

FW: ACTIVATING FONTS

Dear Dov,thanks for such an extensive answer. I had no idea. What handles it so
far is de-activating, activating a set. Then it gets picked up by Frame too. I
probably will set it up so when i add font it is not activated and then click
activate and all will be good. Do you think its a good idea to go with extensis
or is ATM a prefered font manager? Michael

XREF CONUNDRUM

2008-09-02 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello there,
here I am, having a problem with XRefs. Here is what I'm trying to do:
Source document has a bunch of Cross-Ref markers on different pages.
Destination document has XReferences to the source document with a format Page
XX.
Everything goes fine where the markers are in a normal flow of text.
Troubles start when the Cross-Ref marker appears inside of the table (these are
anchored to blank paragraphs in a source document and are plain tables with 5
columns each and some text in each cell). When the marker is inside a paragraph
in a cell, it appears as Page Table5 in the destination document where
Table5 is a tag name of a table this marker is in.
In short I get Page TableX instead of Page XX.
Does anyone know the reason for this behavior.
I'm on XP SP2, FM 7.1, FS 4.1.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, that's right the format is Page $pagenum - I abbreviated it in my
original message. Now what's odd is that one marker in a cell causes trouble
and the other one, just next to it with exactly same settings doesn't. Moreover
if I just retype the marker text inside the marker and re-XRef it to my
destination doc it comes out good. Is that some sort of a glitch I should be
aware of?

In short I get Page TableX instead of Page XX. Does anyone know the
reason for this behavior. You get the tag name when the cross-reference
format definition contains the building block $paratag. It has nothing to do
with tables, it's a matter of the xref format being used. You need to look
at your cross-reference format definitions. Page XX is not a format
definition -- the likely definition for that cross-reference format is (sans
quotes): Page $pagenum Double-click an xref. In the Cross-reference
dialog, click Edit Format. Then spend some time selecting the different
formats defined in your document and looking at their definitions. If
necessary, refer to the online help or manual for explanations of the
different building blocks. It sounds like you have some issues with the xref
format definitions in your docs or with your usage of them. HTH! Richard

SORT ORDER

2008-08-28 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello All,
working in InDesign this moment. Have to generate an index. Can't find any sort
order control in here. I mean there are default language options for sorting
orders but if I wanted my own alphabetical sequence (just like you can do in
FrameMaker with its Reference pages) there are none.
Does anyone have a clue about it?
How do I create a completely custom sorting order in InDesign?

GUIDES in FRAMEMAKER

Hello all,
just finished scripting GUIDES in FrameMaker. I.e. rules, just like you have in

appeared and it's been a situation for me ever since. Not anymore.
If someone is interested, let me know. Some had it on their wishlist for next

ON-SCREEN GUIDES

2008-08-13 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello there,
does anyone know of a utility that would put guides on my screen. To explain:
Frame doesn't have any guides and at times it's needed. Any advanced software -
Photoshop, Indesign, etc. has rules (or guides) which you can just drag around
and place wherever you need and align your objects accordingly. Not so with
Frame. So I thought maybe there is some on-screen guides utility that I can
use. I know, I know - grid lines, snapping, aligning, etc. are all to my
discretion. However i'm doing a specific graphic work and all i need is guides.

Ideas?

Hi Michael,

I don't think you replied to the whole list with this.

For a visual reference, I think drawing lines on the master page would work
best, but you'd have to delete them before printing.

I just don't see the need for a visual reference. You can align objects and
accurately set their position on a page. It sounds like you might need a true
page layout tool such as InDesign.

FRAME CRASH

2008-08-04 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello All,
running into a weird problem. Never happened to me. I open Frame (7.1, on XP)
and when I press Ctrl+Alt+l (to make something lower case) or even when no
document is open, Frame crashes with the usual error screen. Now when I do
Ctrl+Alt+shift+l it goes fine.

Does anyone know what the deal might be?

Character Designer Modification

2008-07-10 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello there,
did anyone come across a way to modify the Character Designer (more precise -
add options to it). Some time ago I managed to change the font (using a Hex
Editor) in it and the width of the boxes (actually this one was done by someone
else before me). I.e. I can see Greek text in my dialogs (I can also set it up
to display russian characters if I wanted to).
Anyhow, what I'm trying to accomplish is to add Vertical and Horizontal Kern
input boxes to the Character Designer. I know, I know, Pubs-Tools worked out a
way to fiddle those but I want something more down to earth and not requiring
additional plugs.

Ideas?

BENGALI

2008-06-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hi there,
Thought I should ask. Does anyone have a good way of typesetting Bengali
language. I tried FM8 (with its glorified unicode support) and I'm thoroughly
disappointed. It does import RTF files alright but messes them quite badly by
adding additional spaces and characters. Bengali is double byte and I guess
that's where the problem lies. InDesign messes the files just as bad by
swapping some characters and decomposing the double bytes into single
characters.

Any idea is welcome. That's been a misery to me in the last weeks.

IS THIS POSSIBLE AT ALL

2008-05-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello Framers,
here I'm presenting an impossible task. :-).
I have a 300 pages document which consists of 9 sections. I need to generate an
index for it. Page number format should look like this: X-PP, where X is a
section number and PP - page number. Had I separate files, that would not be a
problem - make a book and off you go. I have 1 and I don't want split it for
certain reasons.
So, is there a way to accomplish this numbering in one file? I know in InDesign
that is totally possible with Section'ing the document. What about Frame?

RE: IS THIS POSSIBLE AT ALL

2008-05-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Well, what I figured and is working...

I added autonumbering to my Section paragraphs. Position of the numbers at the
end of the paragraph so it doesn't throw the position off-center and tagged
with a chartag that colors it white. $paranumonly[Section] does work fine in
generated files providing you have this autonumbering on. Final product looks
satisfactory and this method allows me to use more files to generate from -
i.e. cross-indexing.

Any other thoughts?

Hi Rob, This type of building block: $paranumonly[Section] does
not work in generated files. You will get the closest previous autonumber
to the index marker instead of any that you specify in square brackets.
Rick Quatro Carmen Publishing 585-659-8267 www.frameexpert.com Hi
Michael, It is possible - provided that your section numbers are generated
using paragraph autonumbering. First, if you've not already generated an
index for the doc, do so. Then, in the generated index file, view the
references pages. There should be a page called IX (with a flow called IX).
This page controlls the sort order of the index, and other things like the
appearance of index entries. One of the paras on the page should be:
$pagenum Change it to: $paranumonly[Section]-$pagenum Where
Section should be changed to the paragraph tag you are using for your
sections. It's a good idea to use a non-breaking hyphen (esc hyphen h) so
that the section and page numbers don't get split in the index. Regenerate
the index and you should get the required X-PP format. Rob

CRASHING VARIABLES

2007-11-17 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Dear All,
I have a whole lot of scripts installed. Now I'm running into a problem where
running of one script influences the other. Example - one script is running
fine from the editor but when installed, crashes Framemaker almost uniformly. I
can get it to work once and then, when trying to run it again, it crashes.
I believe I have the same variable repeating in more than one script and those
crash when installed. Now, looking through about 50 scripts and trying to
figure out what causes the conflict doesn't seem to be the right way. I know I
could have set them all up as Locals but now it's too late.
Is there a way to make the script variables unique to this script without
rewriting the script?

RE: SV: Can't print over network

2007-10-29 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Jacob,

I'm not using pdf server. What happens is that I can PDF file on my local drive
and it comes out ok. When I try to PDF it into network folder it messes up. I'm
not spooling the file onto PDF server - it's a local process but the output
goes into network folder (or doesn't in this case).

ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SCRIPT IN GHOSTSCRIPT

2007-10-25 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Thanks Jacob,
I downloaded the trial version. To be honest I can't figure it out. Why do I
need to compare the results of the Ghostscript and Distiller? None seem to give
a proper result in the first place. I need to know how to add data to the
Ghostscript config file that would either remove the XUIDs or not embed them
into the final PDF. I don't know how to do it for Distiller at all and for
Ghostscript it seems possible.
I completely agree we should not be using these IDs at all, but as of right
now, majority of my fonts do have them and this causes problems.

ANYONE KNOWS HOW TO SCRIPT IN GHOSTSCRIPT

2007-10-24 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello Framers,
This might be slightly OT but here is the issue. I'm PDFing my Frame files with
Distiller 6.0. Now and then my publisher comes up with font issues - certain
fonts come out wrongly like bold comes out as bold ital or small caps comes out
as bold small caps, etc. Tracing it back I narrowed it down to fonts having
identical XUIDs. Now, I can of course go ahead and remove IDs on all fonts but
this would be a tedious task - I have over 5000 fonts library plus this doesn't
seem to be the right solution as in couple instances it didn't help either.
My publisher is using Docuprint machines and doesn't have much options of
changing fonts there.
I'm trying PDF995 now and it seems like I have more control over the PDF
process with a postscript language. I don't know much of Ghostscript at all -
it was barely enough to change the compression method for the images, however
it should be possible to remove XUIDs at PDFing step but how? I found a piece
of a script that does something with XUIDs but this didn't seem to work at all
- the PDF just wouldn't get created.

The file I'm editing is called gs_pdfwr.ps - it's part of the pdf995 package.

Please HELP.

Michael

P.S. I tried a lot of things in the attempt to solve it to no avail. Please do
not suggest any other handling - I tried them all (sad but true...). I only
would like to know how to remove XUID when my file gets created.

Thank you,
Unfortunately this is not an option I have very content sensitive files, i.e.
changing a font would completely destroy them. Even changing Type1 to TrueType
creates problems. Also, it might work with one or two files - but I have about
200 completely different files with about 50 different fonts and which one will
be next giving trouble is hard to tell...

I know you don't want any other suggestions, but for the sake of others on
the list, I would change one or more of the fonts in my FrameMaker documents

RE: Keyboard shortcuts stop working

I solved it by assigning different hotkey to each languages. I.e. Turkish -
Ctrl+Alt+1, Greek - Ctrl+Alt+2, etc. this can be done with regular keyboard
settings tool in XP.

How the heck do you make it stop doing this, though??? I've used the
Advanced Keyboard Settings to turn off the keyboard shortcuts for switching
languages at least 150 times, and it always turns itself back on. Is the
only solution to uninstall the non-English input languages?

I have experienced the same thing. I use the Alt key a lot to activate

Hello there,I'm asking this question as I don't think anyone would even think

you know how to access the Tools Palette? I.e. what file monitors it. I
think I can change any menu and add buttons to anything in Frame, but
this one palette is somehow out of my reach. I would love to add couple

RE: FW: Faster scrolling

If I have a graphic intensive job, I save all my graphic as low res copy
with a low res preview (it's like OPI for FM :-) though not quite) and
relink my document to this new folder.

Once done, I link it back to regular graphic.

QUESTION FOR FONT GURUS

2007-06-06 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Hello all,
I'm having issues with outputting my file into PDF from FM.
I have two fonts with the same XUID and so they get messed up on the
Distiller. These two fonts have very different look and so come out messed
up on the RIP as well - randomly bolded or thinned. I have checked all my
Distiller and PDF settings and it does boil down to these two fonts. The
fonts have different names but the IDs are the same.

Is it possible to handle it without re-generating fonts and removing IDs so
they don't conflict?

It's a bit troublesome to get into the fonts and change them around. My
publisher is quite far away and it takes time to test the files.

Is there any way to simulate the RIP output without actually outputting
anything on paper?

I'm using FM 7.1p116 Acrobat Distiller 6.0 (1.6)

Are you aware that both of Joan Thomas's messages that

consider responding to another person's off-list message on

Hi Michael,

Here is the link to where you can sign up for the test:
http://partners.adobe.com/public/ace/main.html

You can take the test locally, it is proctered by 2 companies.

I became certified last January for Framemaker 7.
I was disappointed to find out that there is not a community or list of
certified individuals available from Adobe (or at least they never
helped me hook up with any of them); they only seem to maintain a list
publically for those people who take the training certification. That
requires additional hours to demonstrate that you have Trainer
experience.

Anyway, good luck on the test!
BTW, the certification is only valid on the version that is their
active one, you have 1 year after they send out Frame 8 to be come
re-certified...sounds like hokieness to me!

:-) joan

CERTIFIED FRAME USER

2007-06-05 Thread Michael Zaichenko
Sorry for impoliteness,

I was notified about earlier and ever since I'm trying to add an info line
to all my 'RE: FM' messages. I believe I could take responsibility for the
other end too.

Hope, no vital data was lost due to this.

Michael

:-) joan

Thank you.
I sent a request over to Adobe. Didn't get an answer yet, for days!

You do need to take a test. Go to Adobe's website and do a search on
it.
They give you all the details.
