BG 2048, BG Word Yahtzee, and BG Simon. Now, I checked yesterday, and it said that these games are released, but it says they're released in December. As of December 2014, there are no games under development. My question is, does anyone have these games? If so, would they be willing to share them? [Audyssey] Hand writing mode on the iphone?
Hi everyone, I recently purchased DoItWrite from Draconis Entertainment, but I'm having some trouble. Right now, I'm at the learning part of the game. I don't know how to set my iphone to hand writing mode though. I did what it said, I went into the router in settings, and I hit hand writing mode on the settings for voiceover settings in the router. So, I guess it's turned on, cause when I go back and check, it says it's selected. Now, I don't know how to make the phone go into the mode. How do I make the phone go into hand writing mode so I can play the game? I've tried shaking the phone, I've tried swiping it, I've tried all kinds of things, but nothings working. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm sure there are people out there who have the game, and are playing it just fine. lol Please help. As I have said the game is fairly simple, but despite its simplicity it is a fun little game to play around with for a little while. As a result I have considered creating something similar, but instead of using notetakers I thought I might use something else such as robots or perhaps a warrior you could train to fight in gladiator type competitions. I am basically wondering if there is any interest in such a game as this? I know that such a game is likely to be fairly simplistic in nature, would in fact be very basic, but I currently don't have much time to devote to complex games like Mysteries of the Ancients or Raceway right now. So if I create anything at all it has to be fairly simple and easy to make. I realized that something like Hack is exactly the type of game I could create that would be fun, addictive, and not all that hard to make. Plus if I wrote it as a text based game I could create versions for Mac, Windows, and Linux without too much trouble which would make it available to pretty much anyone. Any thoughts on this idea? [Audyssey] Apple 2E Amulator?
Hi everyone, Like a week or two ago, there was some discussion on list about an apple 2EE amulator that someone had found. I managed to find it, but I do not know how to switch disks on it. Hey everyone, I'm trying to play some games from kitchensinc, and I'm not able to change to a different sappi voice. As you know, it gives the option before every game asking you if you want a different voice or not. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running windows 7. Hi, GMA GAMES has been around for quite some time now. They make great games, and have great sound effects. There registration system is a bit of a pain though, cause to register another computer, or to get a registrration code if you reformat, you have to contact them about it. There's a certain ID number that your computer has, and you have to give that to them in order to get your key. Your computer registration ID changes every time you reformat, and obviously on another computer. Don't get me wrong, the games are great. If you want them though, you'll have to put up with getting a new code every time something changes. Oh, and don't forget about the classic game Pacman. Hello, I was just wondering about score boards again.. Some people are going to wanna post scores like I do, and no one seems to have this oppinion, but I actually started the old change reaction, just to post my score. Don't get me wrong, I think the new one is a lot better, and a major upgrade. I like the new game moads, and all that. I guess what I'm wondering is, is it Difficult to add boards into the new ChangeReaction, and all/some of your future titles? I mean, if you have the score server already, why not just put the boards as an option? Hopefully I'll get some feedback from the rest of the list about this, but I love competing online against others to see if I can beat their scores. If you want to compete on ChangeReaction though, you need to go back to the old one. As you said, most of their older titles support the score server like alien Outback, PBX all tables, Dynoman which is one of my favorites, but no one wants to play the old stuff. They're still fun in all, but how are we going to see how the boards are really used if we're just trying it games that are years old? Good point, but I don't think you understand what I mean. You can not post your scores in chess to an online score board. I'm talking about the score boards here, not the value of a game. Of course the old titles are still great, they 're classics. My point is, why should we go back to the older games, just to post scores. Who knows if Draconis is planning to release Alien Outback again as an upgrade. If he did though, I'm sure no one would use the score boards to post their scores anymore, they're want to play the new version, and give the old one a break. Perhaps offer up your advice or suggestions regarding this matter. Based on my discussions with Justin via email he does not have the source code for any of his games or software on the Blindsoftware.com site, and all of the sound effects for said games are locked in pack files that are encrypted. This means if a developer, any developer, wanted to update those games he or she would have to start over from scratch. Since all the games were written in Visual Basic 6, a language no longer officially supported on newer Windows platforms all the games would have to be rewritten anyway. However, considering the sounds and music are encrypted and need to be repurchased it could get expensive rewriting these games from scratch. This of course leads to two important questions I have regarding these titles. First, do you really want to see a developer spending time writing a modern remake of these games. After all, there are currently a lot of Space Invader clones out there like Judgment Day, Alien Outback, and of course Troopanum so is it really worth it to rewrite Troopanum to keep that game going? Second, would you, the community, be willing to spend money on a modern remake of Hunter, Pipe, Troopanum, etc if one was made? This might be through donations or actual sales of the software, but is it worth your money to have newer updated versions of these games? Third, seeing that new sounds and music would have to be purchased it wouldn't exactly be like the original. These would be strictly modern remakes of the games with new sounds, new music, and would in their own way be different games. Would you be interested in these games even if they were a bit different from the BSC versions you have now? The reason I am asking these questions is over the years I've seen a lot of audio game developers come and go such as Danz Games, BSC Games, PB Games, Lighttech Interactive, etc. Every time a developer goes they leave behind a number of games people still want to play but the games are no longer being updated or supported. It strikes me what we need is something comparable to the mainstream Retro Remakes site where interested audio game developers take on some of these abandoned projects and either update or rewrite them to keep them available in the community. I'd be willing to do this myself if there is enough interest in the project. In the end I think it comes down to what Cara was asking a few days ago on the Audyssey List. If you, the community, want game developers to continue writing and supporting accessible games you need to make it worth their time. Hi, If you guys remember, I contacted the list about a month ago because blindsoftware.com had not gotten back to me on a problem I was having. Guess what? They still have not answered my question. So, my question is, why should I buy this package, if I can't even get classic Pipe and Classic Troopanum to work? Another main thing about these games was the scoreboards. My enjoyment was posting my score, and competing with others. If someone would pass this package on to me, I'd definitely accept it. The only thing I'm really interested in is the key restorer, maybe the clock. I have all the set up files for all these games, even the free ones. I do not see a point in buying this. Hi all, It's nearing over three weeks since I've tried to contact blind software about my problem with troopanum and pipe. I've called, I've Emailed, I've written here, I've contacted through their website, nothing. For both Classic Pipe and Classic Troopanum when I start the game, I get the following error: Troopanum graphic 798 graphic 775 Error 1556 license file not valid for this computer. OK Can someone please help me out, or help me get in touch with blind software? Their support is terrible. I guess they're obviously not making games anymore.. Will the Windows version of Change Reaction have score board posting? I do not understand why Windows users are being somewhat left out. The mac does not have as many users as Windows, not yet at least, and it seems like you're going to be releasing more games for MAC, with more features for the MAC, ETC, ETC.. A majority of the users on this list use Windows, at least this is what I've seen. I would think, that your money will come from the users of Windows more so than the MAC. Hello, I can not read the window that tells me everything that is happening. I used to press control tab, and then it'd bring me to that window so I can read it.. If you think you have a truck sitter, get them killed. Lure a few zombies back to the trailer and no more truck sitter. Fair warning to all truck sitters. If you ever go on a mission with Kai and a few others, they will get you killed. So don't do it. However, in 2010 she quit the WWE and has been wrestling for TNA for the last couple of years. I have something of a choice to make in a case like that. Should I use the most current entrance music from the WWE, or should I grab the entrance music from TNA to essentially bring the entrance music completely up to date? Which brings up another but interesting question. If you think I should use the TNA entrance music should I then gear this game towards a crossover game not focusing specifically on WWE, TNA, etc or Ring of Honor but make this sort of an all star wrestling game with a huge roster of WWE, Ring of Honor, and TNA performers? Hi everyone, I know these games are no longer supported, but I wanted to see if anyone has any idea on how to fix this error. I reinstalled the new version of Self Destruct with the Key Gen in the start menu, and I keep getting this error when I click on it: Error There was an error with your product ID. [Audyssey] Couple more things about MOTA.
Hi Tom, Couple things here: 1. The potions don't seem to do anything, at all. I take a potion, and stand around waiting for it to do something raise my health, but nothing happens. She just keeps breathing heavily. 2. There's an enimy that I can not kill. There's actually two of them on the second level, no matter how many times I hit it, it does nothing. Hi Tom and all, On the first level in MOTA, where you go over the fire, and then swing down to press a lever? It seems like sometimes that lever unlocks the door at the top of the stairs from before the fire sometimes, and sometimes it doesn't. Is this supposed to be this way? [Audyssey] OT/quick question.
Hi everyone, This could be a topic of gaming, but it's more of a tec question.. Anyways, I'm trying to install Entombed, and even with other files it does this too. I get this error: The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. graphic 603 This can occur if you are running Windows in safe mode, or if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance. OK Now I'm not running Windows in safe mode, so that knocks that out. Does anyone know or have any idea this is happening? I can't install anything, I keep getting that message. Any help would be appreciated. I hope I do not have to reformat, I just got a new harddrive, and reformatted the old one so I could start fresh. Hi, Anyone had any luck with the key gen on Windows 7? I can not get it to work, no matter what I do. You might want to clear out your temp directories and try the install again. I'm not sure about your system, but generally my setup files get copied to c:\Users\Thomas\App Data\Local\Temp and deleting the files in there cleans up any installation files left over from prior installs. Try that and let me know how it works for you. If that doesn't work you'll have to check the logs for the exact error reports and error codes. [Audyssey] Problem with Super Deegout
Hi, I just had to do a clean install of windows, and I'm reinstalling all my games.. I have Super Deegout installed, but when I click on the icon to play it, it says I need directX 8 or later to play the game, and it closes. I checked my version of DirectX, and it's version 11. I've ran the program that makes sure DirectX is up to date, and if it isn't it installs the latest updates, and still the same thing keeps happening. Anyone have any idea why? $65/Hr Job - 25 Openings Part-Time job ($20-$65/hr).
