Be careful you don't hear the bridge mentioned too with the tab key, if so you could destroy it by fireing on it. What you have to do is move backwards slowley until you just hear artillary with the tab key, even if you don't hear the targeting system you can still shoot him, so if it says "artillary 74 metres" then ajust your range with your shells accordingly and shoot it, then check with your tab key and you should hear it tell you there is now burning equipment. Hi. to complete the stages in gma tank commander you don't just need to kill the enemies, but actually look at what the mission's objective is. In the first mission for instance, you need to destroy the three inteligence bases and then cross the bridge to the north. You can here the bases, they sound like radio chatter. When you've destroyed all of them, no matter what enemy tanks and copters are left, just head to the central north area and look for the bridge, that will lead you across to sector two. there is also a full walkthru of all missions you can find in the manual as well that describes their layout and many other details. I have a similar problem actually, sinse while I can play games in sterrio and record them and my voice on the rowland, I'm not half so good as Raul at playing without headphones (anyone who remembers my electronic soop demo of mota will recall how badly i did there). It'd be nice to be able to get my voice and headphones both onto my rowland, but sadly not. I can however reccord any game I could play on speakers, something like shades of doom or possibly time of conflict, though i'd need to work a litle at time of conflict again before I was happy enough with the game to try making a demo. Re: [Audyssey] shades of doom recordings
Hi s p o i l e r s p a c e Once you've destroyed the 3 bases and all the tanks, check your mission is complete with f2 then head for the river and the bridge. You should hear it say "Artillary" once you hear that line up with it, to do this use your x key and if the beeps for artillary sound dead ahead, use your tab key until you're linned up. After that just head for the bridge and accross it to the town, then you've completed it. Good luck from Lori. -- From: "THANHVINH" Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 2011 9:50 AM To: "Gamers Discussion list" Subject: Re: [Audyssey] shades of doom recordings Excuse me, can anyone please help me to complete the 1st level in GMA Tank Commender? Re: [Audyssey] shades of doom recordings
I really enjoy all Raul's recordings, and have most of his full playthroughs of the Bsc and gma games pluss superliam. the recordings are fun to listen to, but I also very much like the comments on the games and gameplay as well. this is what imho distinguishes a walkthru or a review from just a playthru, sinse you not only get the game, but the person's comments about the game, either in terms of tactics as in a walkthru, or in terms of their thoughts on a game as in a review, . (I deffinately! admire the way Raul can play on sterrio speakers, something I can't manage myself). I'd certainly like to see some more weather for time of conflict, Mota, the pinball games, castaways or whatever else, I'd personally just be interested in hereing them because I like the way Raul does things. In fact while I personally don't tend to listen to a streight playthru of a game unless it's one I want to here someone's tactics on, I actually enjoy reviews or walkthroughs even for games I've finished myself because I like to here someone's thoughts about the game and here them put into practice. Re: [Audyssey] shades of doom recordings
Hi Charles, Yes, in deed. That's replay value at its best. What I hate more than anything else is to buy a game and complete it on every difficulty level in a single sitting. Generally an ideal game would take days maybe a week or more to complete. When I just started playing Shades of Doom I failed many many times before I completed the game. I think I played the game practically for a month straight before I beat it on the "can I play daddy" level. Once I did, though, I found it was slightly easier to do it again and again. Once I was sure I could successfully complete that level I tried the "don't hurt me" level as it was slightly more challenging and so on. I just didn't give up, call it impossible, and quit. I stuck to it until I finally managed to beat all five difficulty levels. Very few audio games have challenged me as much as Shades of Doom which is why I have a lot of respect for GMA's titles. Re: [Audyssey] shades of doom recordings
Rather then listening to a recording why don't you try and get better at it by playing the game the hole way through on a higher difficulty? Believe me it's doable I know because I have done it on level 5 before. It took a long time and it's been many years but I have done it I can tell you that's much more fun then listening to someone else doing it. Just a thought. IF you were to get a recording I would think someone could record at least level one on a higher difficulty.
