Re: LUX conversion
hi, f*f/t=E*18%*S/K/PI 'f' is Av, 't' is exposure time in second, E is lux, K is a constant, equals 15.4 in documents of Kodak. So, if E=500lux, S=ASA100, then f*f/t=500*0.18*100/15.4/3.14159=186, equals 1/6s,F5.6 or 1/90,F1.4 . ÔÚ 2002-06-04 23:06:00 ÄúдµÀ£º Hi. Tiny, very simple, handheld light meter. Window, needle, dial. There was _no_ battery of any kind. It was powered by the very light it was measuring. Izzat a selenium meter? Then again, I suppose that even if that was using a selenium photodetector, one *could* add an amplifier circuit to make it more sensitive in low light, and then there'd be a battery... Re: Pentax zx-7 fill flash
Gary, The quick answer is disable the auto flash mode and shoot away. Flash will always fully expose the subject while camera exposes for the background. You may be satisfied with the results. The real answer is that true fill-in is not that easily achieved, at least not on the ZX series cameras. Reduced power settings on the 500FTZ won't work but in manual flash mode. In any other mode, flash discharge is controlled only by the camera's TTL flash sensor. In order to compensate the flash burst but still keep the TTL automation, you have to set the camera on (metered) manual mode, adjust the exposure for ambient light, then adjust the exposure compensation (-1 to -1.5 EV works best for fill-in in subdued light). BTW, don't go to the manual over this. It's only documented on pdml. ;o) Servus, Alin Gary wrote: GM I have a Pentax ZX-7 with a AF500ftz flash. I want to take GM pictures ouside and use fill flash. Re: Big announcement coming up
Artur wrote: No, by proper marketing strategy I mean the ability to convince customers that the own product is better than the others and that they should buy it. That seems like a hopeless task. You need something to convince them with. Not even those with large pool of Pentax lenses were convinced about the Z-1p. Now that fact alone probably killed Pentax wish to sink more money into marketing of the camera. In '92 Pentax had a limited selection of AF lenses and those who really wanted to switch to AF felt better served by other companies. In fact, the big flee from Pentax happened after the release of the Z-series and I believe this happened because the Pentax users who wanted to go AF couldn't see any reason not to switch. A firm may rely either on advanced technologies (like Canon, Nikon) or on fame of being classic (like Leica). Pentax used to be among the former but lost its place - it cannot, however, claim to be classic. Minolta is in a very similar situation but, unlike Pentax, it was able to begin succesful restoration with the introduction of Dynaxxes 9, 7 and 5. Mind that I also notice a beginning of the same restoration on the Pentax side and I hope it will prove succesful... I'm nor sure Minolta qualifies as successful. They suffer from many of the same problems Pentax do. They have fewer lenses in their line-up and Minolta loose more money. Ah, yes:) They probably thought the same way... Why should we do anything to convince the customers to buy our cameras if they don't want to? OUR market position wasn't APPRECIATED! We are offended Other producers, however, weren't offended and exploited the chance... Pentax don't do cameras for a charity purposes but to profit by them, remember?:) Why should they have updated the camera that didn't meet their sales goal? To finally meet it. And they should have let all the people know that they updated it and that they care for their customers... That's naive. Updating a camera means tweaking basically the same product. Nobody has ever updated an unpopular product and I don't want Pentax to be the first to try it out. They could have replace it though. I don't think they should make a camera similar to Nikon and Canon because the world don't need more Nikon and Canons. I do not either subscribe to the theory that if a camera is not like Nikon or Canon then it can't be professional. I DON'T mean they should make clones of EOS-1v or F5. You did in a previous post And no, the world doesn't need more Nikons and Canons. But Pentax proved that it has it's own style and features and I assure you that such a pro Pentax camera would be still unique. You seem to fear that it wouldn't be, though, which means that you don't believe in Pentax abilities. Think it over... Sure, but what have this to do with Nikon and Canon? See you previous posts. The MZ-S is just as much a pro level camera as the Nikon F100 and more so than the Canon EOS3. I'd rather compare the MZ-S to EOS5 and something between F100 and F80. But OK. Claiming the Z-1p is pro level camera and the MZ-S is not is with all respect silly. The Z-1p was neither designed or marketed as a pro grade camera. Pål Oh, but it was... Here in Poland as well as in other places, as it was written in another mail. You think you need to go farther into the bush than Poland to convince anyone. A professional camera sold at a third of the price of other professional cameras. Not even canons marketing department have tried that stunt. Pål - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Ann, A few days ago I got an Out of Office AutoReply from a corporate email address to a message I sent to PDML. Like you the addressee was not listed in my address book so I don't understand how I could even have accidentally cc'd him. My ISP suggested a virus as the probable cause, and explained that the forwarding addresses can be hidden in the infectious message so that your own address book isn't always the source. I do frequent on-line virus scans at PC Pitstop and a subsequent scan came up clean, but their reference files are only updated once a month so a new virus could slip in during the interval between updates. Also like you I am super cautious with attachments, I never open one from an unknown sender and frequently reject one from a known sender if the subject line, the size, or the attachments extension are suspicious. That leaves only two infection sources: HTML emails (I get some commercial newsletters and up to now had thought them trustworthy); or directly from Javascript on web pages. I personally know that the second is possible because I once got loaded with something that made it impossible to browse one of the Australian auction sites. Only uninstalling and reinstalling Internet Explorer cleaned out that bug. OTOH the list-server might possibly be doing the random forwarding. Was your bounced message also a PDML message? What you folks missed
Through the generosity of our Pentax rep, we had two HUGE trunks of Pentax gear to play with at Grandfather Mountain this past weekend. There was too much to list, but I think there was at least one, and in some cases two or more of every top of the line piece of Pentax equipment. It included 2 MZ-S bodies with BG-10 grips, 2 645nII bodies, one 67II body and every imaginable lens that you could possibly wish for. I got to use the new 33-55mm 645 lens, List Guy spent the weekend fondling the 67II. Cesar decided not to tempt himself, but did use the 67II for a bit. Re: Pentax 2 new zoom lenses
These are the lenses. They seem extremely light weight: SMCP-FA ZOOM 28-105MM F/3.2-4.5 AL [IF] 9.0 oz SMCP-FA ZOOM 28-90MM F/3.5-5.6 6.9 oz Has anyone had a chance to try them and care to share the experience? I own the FA28-105/f3.2-4.5 for half a year now. However, I have only used it on three occasions. Primes just are better and faster, thus I usually use them. Boz, who borrowed the zoom from me, seems to like it as a travel lens on the MZ5N. This is what I can say about this zoom lens now: The lens is indeed small and leightweight, and it feels slightly better than the FA28-70/f4 (the only other auto focus normal zoom lens that I have experience with). Auto focus is very fast. Manual focus feels relatively good but is difficult due to the small angle of rotation of the focusing ring. The SMC coating is very effective, the lens seems to be quite resistant to flare. There is some distortion, but I do not remember at what focal lengths or in what direction. Contrasts seems to be good. Resolution may be OK for a zoom but is considerably less than that of a prime. At f8-11 resolution is satisfactory, however, to be able to use the lens at such values one needs sunlight, a flash, or a tripod. What disturbs me most is the light fall off (vignetting) in the corners, which one will notice especially if the lens is used wide open and with a blue sky. Again this may be normal for a consumer zoom. Bokeh seems to be pretty, at least I got some beautyful out focus highlights. I would recommend to use this lens for light travel in sunny regions or at parties. Arnold - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Re: Any recommendations on PS??
I used to have a Prego 90; handy little camera with a sharp but slw zoom. Had the remote shutter release which I didn't use everyday but was really, really handy for group shots that I wanted to be a part of. Sold it on eBay for $160 to get a digital that doesn't have a fraction of the image quality. It had a bunch of modes that I never bothered with. It only had two flaws that really bothered me: (1) the viewfinder: It had a very narrow angle of view that drove me crazy! (2) For some reason, red-eye reduction was not the default mode for the flash. Rumor has it that the body was actually built by Samsung. t On 6/5/02 7:03 AM, Amita Guha wrote: I have a Rollei Prego 90 which I love, but they don't make it anymore. Hi Anthony, I got an MS Outlook out-of-office auto-reply a few days ago as well. This also happened a few months ago, IIRC. I believe the problem is that someone with MS Outlook activates his/her Out-of-Office Manager (presumably before going on extended leave from the office), and then anyone sending him/her an e-mail gets an automatic reply, creating havok for any lists to which he/she subscribes. If this individual happens to get one -- or several dozen -- e-mails from the PDML server, then his/her mailserver dutifully sends out one -- or perhaps several dozen -- automatic replies to the PDML server. And of course, any posting to the listserver gets forwarded to all of us PDMLers. This Out-of-Office Manager is only supposed to auto-reply once to any given e-mail sender -- that is, if I send this individual ten e-mails, only the first one will get an auto-reply. However, I believe that Outlook looks for the From address rather than the Reply-to address. Thus, all his/her PDML mail looks like it comes from dozens of different individual senders (even though the reply-to address is the same), so dozens of auto-replies are sent out (rather than just a single auto-reply to the PDML address). I think Doug's got the listserver set up now so that anyone sending such an autoreply gets auto-unsubscribed, but I'm not sure. I know that when this problem happened several months ago (due to some PDMLer activating his MS Office auto-reply feature), I was getting double the PDML mail for the better part of a day. New camera speculation (yes, again)
Something that didn't get to the list - Well, the weather featured that particular variety of insidious misty rain we like to call a soft day, thank God here in Ireland, so the camera was idle today. And as there's some saying or other about idle hands and devils' work, I have decided to try to spawn another diabolical speculative camera thread (cue maniacal laughter, bats fly into night, lightning strikes, etc. etc.). Anyway... At the moment there's a large price gap in Pentax's lineup between the MZ-5n/MZ-3, and the MZ-S. I expect it to be filled with another camera, which I imaginatively call the MZ-2 or MZ-4, with MZ-4 being more likely. Most of the electronics and software from the MZ-S, which are by now tried and tested, could be re-used inside a cheaper body, so a speculative feature set would be like: - Shutter up to 1/6000, flash sync at 1/125, or 1/6000 with AF360-FGZ - Digital two-dial control (compensation/PF and shutter speed) like MZ-S. No picture modes. - 6-point AF (with selectable point) identical to MZ-S. - Similar viewfinder coverage and magnification to MZ-5n. - Spot, centre-weighted and pattern metering directly selectable on a dial, like MZ-S (and 5n/3) - Auto-bracketing (but maybe with half- or one stop selected on a PF, not on a direct dial) - P-TTL flash, but no wireless flash control, except in conjunction with AF360-FGZ flash (as opposed to MZ-S's use of the pop-up flash as a controller) - DOF preview and shutter release/power on separate switches for no particular reason except to preserve continuity with MZ-5n and maintain a difference between this camera and the MZ-S - IR shutter release (as in MZ-6) - unlimited multiple exposure facility - leader-out rewind via a PF, but no go to frame N when loading film. - cheap injection-moulded metallic-effect plastic shell around an aluminium frame - little sticker on the bottom saying Made in Vietnam ;-) (meaning no slur - just stating that the MZ-S is currently made in Japan by relatively expensive labour) To justify the continued higher price of the MZ-S, this new camera would NOT have : - Hand-finished magnesium-alloy body and slanted top-plate, carefully filed, sanded and hand-painted by highly-paid Japanese workers ;-) - Data imprinting on film. - MLU self-timer mode - go to frame on film change (which has allowed me to build up a collection of partially-used film rolls ;-) ) - studio flash socket on side - wireless flash control via popup flash. - handy focus now! button on rear ;-) - illuminated lens mount indicator, illuminated display - professional black finish (now I'm kidding! -- I really wanted a silver one myself) - BG-10 grip and vertical shutter release. I think Pentax could make this camera, make it in bigger numbers than the MZ-S, sell it for about US$300 less than the MZ-S, and still earn a nice return on each one, without cannibalising the MZ-S's market segment very much. comments? -- Kristian - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Slightly OT: Disneycolour is back???
A friend told me of a curious film he'd run into, a brand he'd never heard of before. He doesn't like Kodak consumer films because the colours are Brighter Than Real, and he said this one was even worse in that regard -- almost cartoony -- but he did see how it could be useful for a special effect. Of course, by this time I was mentally comparing it to Ultra and Velvia... The brand is Perutz, and it turns out they're owned by Agfa. As I recall, when Ultra was discontinued, there were rumours of a Coming Soon 100 ASA replacement for it that I've never seen. I'm wondering whether this is it. He picked up a few rolls for me to try, but I won't get my hands on them until two weeks from now. In the meantime, I'm curious: have any of y'all played with this film? Re: DSLR building
Rich, I think you, and a few others may have missed my point early on in my posting. I don't want a major headache working with hardware and software, instead, I was playing with the idea of simply tearing apart an exsisting digi-cam, and utilizing that in it's entirety. No programming involved. I have a webcam I got for free that's capable of running off of batteries and taking pictures without being hooked up to a computer. It's a pretty basic setup with only 3 buttons and 1 LCD screen to interact with . . . I figure a couple of days time to have something together that will totally suck as far as resolution is concerned, but should provide me with enough experience to move up to something more complex. Right now I have to find a SLR that is parts already . . . I don't want to ruin any of my 'good' cameras just yet. It makes me wonder, 'though, why I'm not deluged with them when I post on weekends, or why I don't get a flood of American Out of Office AutoReplies when I post in our daytime (when you're out of your offices). It also explains why they never do get back to me later. Each authentic PDML message was accompanied by a note from this particular PDMLer stating that he was out of the office presently, but would respond following his return. Nothing very amazing to report. Spotted an example of the unusual 100mm F4 A macro (320Euro), had to be restrained upon spotting probably the world's largest Pentax (digital, too, I believe). Oh, and one for the collectors. K1000 La Poste. Only made for the French Post Office, this has the shutter speed dial blanked off. RE: What you folks missed
Bill Owens Sent: Wednesday, June 05, 2002 12:08 PM Through the generosity of our Pentax rep, we had two HUGE trunks of Pentax gear to play with at Grandfather Mountain this past weekend. I would like to have tried the 600/4.0 ED/IF on the MZ-S, but would have to have sold the house if anything were to happen to it Bill KG4LOV [EMAIL PROTECTED] - Actually, it was the 645nII that I shot a roll of on the last day. I did not want to see the film go to waste :') I have to think about which lenses I tried on it. I believe one was the 120 f/4 macro and then Tom's 35mm. In the 35mm venue I did get to try the 250-600 FA* 5.6 zoom, FA* 300 f/2.8, 200 f/4 FA* macro, 43 f/1.9 Limited, 31 f/1.8 Limited, and Doug's FA 35 f/2. All in all a great time to check out stuff. I did not even have time to try Tom's FA* 85 f/1.4 or ask Mark to check out his FA* 24 f/2. I only had my screwmount gear out the first couple of days. I plan to put up a shot of that gear on display when I get some shots scanned from the weekend. Oh yeah, I did handle the 67II with the 400 f/4 ED (IF). Talk about a workout! GFM Report
Thursday a.m. I loaded up my trunk with 25 pounds of camera gear, 10 Ledo's pizzas, and a spare pair of pants and started the long drive to North Carolina. 8 hours and 300 pounds of roadkill later I finally arrived to find the rest of the PDML crew lounging at Chez Owens, with at least 10 camera bodies lying around. I managed to pick up at least 3 of them without breaking anything. Surprise surprise, there was beer, and I drank some of it. It got late, some of us headed back to the cabin, and since the next morning would be my only opportunity to do any sunrise shots, we set the alarm for 5:10. It might have even gone off, but we ended up rolling out around 9. Oh well, just in time for a BBQ sandwich. More people started arriving that day, and we were hoping to meet some new PDMLers, but none showed up. It ended up being the same folks as last year, except Cesar stepped in for Jeepgirl. Cesar, you are no Jeepgirl. (You drool much less.) Anyway, we were a bit disappointed that no one else showed up...we were hoping to see another 2 or 3 PDMLers, but our pain was assuaged by the approximately $50,000 worth of Pentax gear made available for our use by the Pentax guy. I personally used a FA 200/4 Macro, 250-600/5.6 (Christian, I tried to borrow this for you, but it stuck out of the bottom of my pants and gave me a rash), 645 33-55/4.5, 645 150/2.8, 645nII, 67II, 67 100/4 Macro, 67 55-100, 67 45 and 67 300. I think the FA 300/2.8 went untouched, but other folks had fun with the MZ-S's, 645nII, 645 45-85, 645 80-160, 645 300/4, FA 31, 43, 77, 24-90, 20-35, 300/4.5, 28-70/2.8 and other stuff I can't even remember. Sorry you couldn't come. Oh, there were also 2 bricks of Kodak Max, but I think Doug probably hoarded all of that. Thanks Pentax! The next 2 days were pretty much a blur of pizza, beer, Velvia and belly dancing. The speakers all did fantastic jobs...oh wait, I only saw Bill Fortney. Ok, Bill Fortney did a fantastic job and is my new hero. I heard our own Mark Roberts did a great Intro to Digital presentation, but logistical difficulties cough prevented me from attending. A few notes: - The 33-55 seems like a pretty nice lens. The 33 end is definitely wider than the A 35/3.5, but it doesn't focus as close at 35mm. - Jeepgirl was sorely missed. - Otters are pretty damned cute. - I like BBQ. - Mr. Beer is a bad man. - Phyllis Owens is a candidate for sainthood. - Pentax has some pretty good customer service guys. - Russian cameras smell funny and are ugly. - I *really* need to bring more clothes next time. - PDMLers are a pretty good bunch of folks, especially after they've bathed. Re: Which Pentax flash for MZ-M?
Thanks for the suggestions: in the end we decided that the AF201SA seemed overpriced for what it did, and we got a secondhand AF200S for £19 (about $30) at Walters Photo in Bath today. This has the same guide number as the AF201SA and seems to have all the same features, as far as I can tell. The Pentax web site suggests the AF201SA, but gives no details about this flash's capabilities. I think what Mike needs is a small flash with auto (ie aperture-set thyristor) and manual modes. As far as I can tell from the manual, the MZ-M does not do TTL or communicate with zoom flash. I use it with MZ-M and MX. AF201SA is a very simple flash. It has Guide Number of 20 (meters), covers picture area of 35mm lens. It has a manual mode and an auto mode (thyristor). When used with MZ-M it sets the aperture according to iso speed (f5,6 for ISO100) (lens has to be set to A otherwise yu have to set an aperture yourself). Also, when the flash has charged, actual shutter speed can't be shorter than 1/100th. If something shorter is set it would be overrulled. This is what I found from my experience: - it's dedicated - this flash is easy to use when using it as a flash in a compact camera - set to auto and let it do the work - I miss the bounce/swivel capabilities - I missed couple of times the possibility of setting a flash to gice just a part of light power needed - I would like to have a coverage of at least 28mm - I could use a bigger GN - I guess I need a new flash ;-) From what I know (but I haven't dig that yet) you can get with a better flash for the price od AF201SA, and it would be worth to look at some used ones with more features. Chris, there can be several reasons why you're not getting good blacks: Under exposure; Under development; Over exposure and under development; Wrong contrast filter; Negatives that don't allow good blacks ... Re: Making prints...
You may need to pick up a filter set, ilford makes filters than can be cut with scissors. use a #2 filter for the contact sheet and see if it makes the blacks, black. Also maybe a few more seconds of exposure might help it if the lights don't come out too dark. Filters are a must with multi contrast paper. Each authentic PDML message was accompanied by a note from this particular PDMLer stating that he was out of the office presently,

Re: Making prints...
What filter are you using? You have to use multigrade filters with multigrade paper. You probably want to start with a number 2 for an average negative and work from there. Higher numbered filters will give you more contrast -- deeper blacks and brighter highlights -- lower numbered filters will reduce the contrast. If you're printing with no filter, you're results are going to be very flat. Re:New camera speculation (yes, again)
Hmm, sound interesting. However, I would still wait and save for MZ-S. There's just something about it that makes me want to make it my primary 35mm body. I think that MZ-S is what Pentax is all about; high quality, portable, durable, simple. I think that Pentax will make a camera that will be the real flagship of the line and that it will be more like offerings from the other major brands, In the middle we will see a combination of ZX-L and ZX-5N/3N for a while. Not that I would not like to see the camera you've described. The only thing I would change is knock down the max shutter speed to 1/4000 and retain the timed MLU, all glass prism, and AF button on the back. Actually, that AF button made me think that Pentax might be working on lenses with full-time manual focusing like lenses from Mr. C? Oh, well. - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Re: has anyone had any expereinece with the tamron 24-135 lens
As Alan noted, it has gotten consistently good reviews. In January I took two MZ-S's to Mali, one with the FA 24-90 and the other with the Tamrom 24-135. The Tamron images are sharp and the lens is versatile. To my eye, the images taken with the FA 24-90 have better contrast and are a bit sharper. The Tamron is a bulky lens. For myself, I'd buy the FA 24-90, or the new FA 28-105 f3.2-4.5 (if it was available in the U.S.) or the older FA Power Zoom 28-105 (I own two of these). But then I usually carry a telephoto zoom as well. If you are carrying only one lens and need the reach, the Tamron 24-135 is a good choice. Joe - This message is from the Pentax-Discuss Mail List. Re: Best Screw Lenses?
Steve, Pentax screwmount lenses are so good--and so affordable--that I wouldn't consider third-party lenses except where there are conspicuous gaps: Fujica 400/4 and 600/5.6 in M42, for example, a fast multicoated 20 like the Carl Zeiss Jena 20/2.8, a fast portrait lens like the Carl Zeiss Jena 80/1.8, or a fast 200 like the Vivitar Series 1 200/3. All of these have an autodiaphragm switch that will work with your F. Most Series 1 lenses were not multicoated until the K-mount versions, but the Vivitar Series 1 28/1.9 screwmount is an especially nice lens that is multicoated and yields beautiful color and sharpness. How good is it? I kept my 28/1.9K and just sold my Pentax SMC 28/2K, the Pentax twin of the Zeiss Distagon. Consider the Pentax SMC 105/2.8. You could look months finding one in K mount; it's yours for the taking at $125 or less in screwmount. Many believe that the Super Takumar 50/1.4 and SMC 50/1.4 set a benchmark for build quality and sharpness that has today's 50s still playing catch-up. A few of my favorites include the 85/1.8, the 135/2.5 with six elements, the 105/2.8, the 50/1.4, the 35/2.0, the 300/4, and the 28/3.5. But almost all of the lenses in this series are very good. Generally, the third party lenses are not quite as good. Some exceptions to this rule can be found among the Vivitar Series 1 lenses. But I'd focus my attention on hunting some of these down. One of those I mentioned was seen on ebay this afternoon with a good buy it now price. Paul Steve Pearson wrote: Hello all-I just picked up a Spotmatic F know nothing about the screw lenses for this camera as I currently own a Super Program. I would very much appreciate your responses-what lenses are the best, rarest, etc.? How good are the Off-brand lenses. A quick look on Ebay has Jupiter 9 (Russian), German lenses, etc. Are any of these worth hunting for? BTW, mine came w/ a 55mm 1.8-is the 1.4 lens much better? Re: Best Screw Lenses?
With the SMC Takumar lenses, a Spotmatic F can meter at open aperture. That means you can focus and get your meter reading without having to stop down the lens manually. You just meter, focus, and shoot. With earlier Super Takumar lenses, you have to push a switch that stops the lens down in order to meter correctly. The difference in ease of use is considerable. I now have only SMC Takumar lenses in my Spotmatic F kit. BTW, the Spotmatic F is one of my favorite cameras. It's a beautiful machine. I have an F but like to use the ES or ESII that meter wide open with the SMC Takumars. My favorite SMC lens I use on my ES cameras is the 35mm f2. I also like the 24mm. For a tele lens I like the 300mm f4. Before eBay, a lens that took me awhile to locate is the 15mm SMC Takumar. Occasionally it appears on eBay. Jim A. Check out this site. It has a very good lens page and a pretty good article on the history of TTL metering and the SP model. http://spotmatic.web-page.net/ Fernando Steve Pearson wrote: Jim: Sorry for the stupid qustions, but could you explain a little more about the metering with the SMC Takumars Vs. the older Super Takumar lenses? Paul: Thanks for the info. I'm not sure I understand which lens was available on Ebay with a good BIN price? Re: Best Screw Lenses?
We're not supposed to report ebay listings here (it drives the price up). But since you've asked, I guess I have to tell you that it's an 85/1.8. Might be gone by now. Loose focusing collar on SMC Pentax-A 1:2.8 135mm lens - Ideas?
I have a SMC Pentax-A 1:2.8 135mm lens. The focusing collar is loose and just turns around and stops, goes back the other way too - the focusing action does not work unless I really squeeze the collar when I rotate it. I removed the rubber grip to see if there were some set screws that needed attention but there is only one that will not yield. The lens was fine up until a week ago. Any suggestions for fixing it? ppro Paul M.
