Hi There Cathy - I use EIS in my hair any time, after washing it,
during the day, whenever I feel like it
not only does it rejuvenate the hair follicles it also deals with
dandruff, skin cancer, and makes the hair

fuller with more body
Take good care and USE the EIS for everything, if after a try, it does
not work, then try something else
this is a product which has been given to us to use for our personal
complete health care, thanks to the
pioneers who lurk on this list who have been working for over 50 years
in research who have given the process to us for free - so go for
it

Re: CS CLAY used for Lupus recovering Dog--Wow so far!!

2010-03-08 Thread Richard Goodwin
That lends a lot of weight to the trauma theory of what causes allergies, which
is that if you experience a trauma of some sort, physical or emotional, at the
same time as you are being exposed to some otherwise harmless substance --
cats, pollen, milk, whatever -- then your body may inappropriately associate
that substance with the trauma, and learn that it needs to fight against it
whenever it encounters it, and a new allergen is born.

The treatment simply reverses the learning process to eliminate the allergy.
Google advanced allergy therapeutics for lots of info.

You miss my point. Regardless of the precipitating cause of any allergy, it
doesn't necessarily follow that removing the triggering factor will remove the
allergy. During my own 25 year history of allergies, when I have been in the
midst of a severe attack I have often developed new permanent allergies to
substances to which I was formerly either not at all sensitive or so minorly
sensitive that that substance alone never caused a reaction.

I wanted to say thanks to the couple of people who responded to my

I have been looking at the SG6 SG7 for purchase on generators for the CS but
not sure yet which one to invest in.

The plastic vs. glass containers still is confusing to me I've read so many
controversial things on this subject. One thing even said to
use glass containers with cork for lids only?

Plastics - there are several kinds and lids are rarely made from
the same material as the container.

What about spray tops? Glass OR plastic container the spray top
will be plastic and likely several types of plastic and metal will be in the
spray mechanism?
So how much am I over thinking this? :)

Re: CS Why flatten Silver wire ?

2010-03-08 Thread Richard Goodwin
Um ... don't think so. When you flatten it out (wire, coin, anything), a lot
of what used to be inside (and therefore not surface), will now be on the
outside (and therefore be added to the surface area).

Mathematically, consider a circular cross section of wire, with, e.g., a radius
of one millimeter. The area is pi sq mm, or, roughly, 3 square millimeters.
The circumference, which would be the surface area, is 2*pi, or roughly 6
millimeters.

Now squish it down so that instead of a circle, you have a very thin rectangle
that is 30 mm long by 1/3 mm thick. The area is still 1 square millimeter, but
the circumference is now 60-2/3 mm, 10 times as much surface area as before.

2010-03-08 Thread GARY ABEL
Hello,

I'm looking for any thoughts on meters to check the ppm.  Someone told me you
needed the Hanna PWT that costs about $60.  I found a Hanna Primo for half
that.  The fellow that told me about the PWT says he checked the Primo and it
wasn't accurate.   I contacted the company that sold it to me and they said it
basiclly has the same component inside as the Hanna PWT.  I would like to be
able to be fairly certain what ppm I'm making.   Any comments on this is
appreciated.

Re: CS Why flatten Silver wire ?

2010-03-08 Thread Richard Goodwin
I'll try this:

12 gauge wire is 0.0808 inches in diameter, which means the circumference is
(pi * .0808), which is about 1/4. So the surface area of the wire is about 6
* 1/4, or 1.33 square inches.

That could be very close to the surface area of the coin, depending on the
diameter of the coin. The surface area of the coin is (2 * pi * diameter).
You can figure that one out once you measure it.

Of course you also have to consider how far into the water you put the coin and
the wire.

Go head and smash your coins, wire, strips of silver. Your call, however they
will become limber and will cost you more in the long run. Also a smashed
piece of silver will give off a lot of flakes over time and are lost forever,
unless you want to put them all back together again..Duh !,
   -0-
I use 2 of the Silver Maple leaf Canadian $5.00 1 oz fine silver, the
purest silver coin ever made. Now they cost $20.00 to $24.00 each depending on
vender and spot market price of silver.

Many years ago I bought a bunch of them for $8.00 usa each. I also drilled a
small hole in the top of each coin I used and put in the hole and twisted the
pure silver wire rods tight. I then could lower the coins to the middle of my
gallon jar that is full of pure distilled water. My Colloid Master Model 777
does the rest of the work, making perfect CS. It shuts off automatically when
it reaches my desired PPM. This has served me now for over 12 years, same as
the Maple Leaf coins, I replaced the wire once or twice.

Some of you beginners are making this too difficult . Its very simple, even
for me. Good Luck !

Um ... don't think so.

I'm looking for any thoughts on meters to check the ppm. Someone told me you

that. The fellow that told me about the PWT says he checked the Primo and it
wasn't accurate. I contacted the company that sold it to me and they said it
basiclly has the same component inside as the Hanna PWT. I would like to be

Christopher Scipio's objections seem to fall into the following
arguments:

* Only pharmaceutical grade DMSO (USP) which is 99.9 pure is safe for

* Industrial and veternarian grade DMSO which is only 99% pure is impure
and unsafe to use
* There are no studies showing DMSO is effective against herpes
* It is dangerous because the solvent properties of DMSO allows
contaminants to be absorbed through the skin and transported into the

*On exposure to air it forms a very high and toxic level of peroxides.

Personally, I find nothing alarming in his arguments. Yes, you need to

There is no doubt that before one uses DMSO they should research and find out

Why do some eat anything they want and never get sick and then there

Thanks for asking this question again as I am not the type of person

yourself what caused my dog's legs and paws to turn color and return
back to her color and I'm come to my own conclusion. Both of us can

All,
My question to the list is: does anyone have any ideas as to what
possible way CS could cause this kind of color change in one month or
less? And have it reverse in a short period of time thereafter?

I have left a bit of the previous exchange, more details are in
other posts between Carol G and myself under the subject
Clay.Lupus dog...
Carol continues to insist that her dog's paws/legs had a color change
from previous color (not specified) to silverish. I have asked her a
few times whether this was a change in fur color or skin color and she
has so far never answered that question, or if her statement below is
her answer it is unclear to me whether the skin or the fur changed color.

I don't believe that a month of ingestion of some CS (quantity
unspecified ?) could possibly cause such a color change. I have given
50/50 CS water and now straight CS to my cats for YEARS and never seen
any hint of such. So I believe Carol is quite wrong that CS caused the
color change, and that something else caused it.

ISIS Report 08/03/10

SmartStax Corn: Corporate War on Bees

US regulatory agencies are aiding and abetting in
killing

bees and more Prof. Joe Cummins

SmartStax corn

Smartstax is a genetically modified (GM) corn that
has eight
GM traits combined or ‘stacked’ together, six for
insect
resistance (Bt) and two for herbicide tolerance.
Current
stacked GM trait crops on the market only have up
to three
traits each. SmartStax was created through a
collaboration
between Monsanto and Dow AgroSciences, allowing
the two
corporations to share GM traits. The traits are
combined
together using crosses between existing transgenic
corn
lines rather than using genetic transformation of
a single
maize strain. Interestingly, a collection of old
transgenes

brought together with traditional crosses are being
described as the ‘new’ technology. Monsanto and
Dow are
predicting that SmartStax will be the largest
commercial
launch of a single GM corn because it will replace
a lot of
the existing GM corn varieties on the market. The
main
benefit of Smartstax maize is that it provides
above and
below ground insect protection along with
tolerance to two
herbicides (glyphosate and glufosinate) [1].
Herbicide
tolerance and insect resistance genes are
engineered in
redundant combinations in the belief that it will
prevent

establishment of resistances to herbicides and the Bt
proteins among weeds and insect pests respectively
[2]. The

USDA provided a premium reduction in the cost of crop
insurance for farmers growing Smartstax maize
while the US
EPA granted a reduction in the size of the refuge
area set

aside from 20 percent to 5 percent, which constitutes
substantial government financial incentives for
growing
Smartstax maize [3]. It is supposed to protect
growers of

Smartstax maize from the uncertainties of climatic
instabilities associated with global warming. The
USDA crop
insurance program covers organic farmers too, but
fails to
protect the organic premium on price and will not
consider
the crop loss from pollen contamination from GM
crops.
Organic and conventional growers are placed at a
clear
disadvantage in comparison to growers of
Smartstax corn.

This likely the only area that gets any sunlight, with the fur so short, and
maybe white. So if argyria were to develop, that is the place to expect it.

After looking at the mange pictures, its now apparent to me, that Sheldon,
our Sheltie, had/has mange. She had it on her backside.

I'm ordering borax off the internet, since I have no idea where to buy it
elsewhere, in Germany, and will try bathing the dogs in that. That's
probably why we're not winning the fight, cause these little buggers live
right under the skin, and who knows where their little colony is... it makes

Christopher Scipio's objections seem to fall into the following
     arguments:

     * Only pharmaceutical grade DMSO (USP) which is 99.9 pure is safe for
     use with humans
     * Industrial and veternarian grade DMSO which is only 99% pure is impure
     and unsafe to use
     * There are no studies showing DMSO is effective against herpes
     * It is dangerous because the solvent properties of DMSO allows
contaminants to be absorbed through the skin and transported into the
     bloodstream.
*On exposure to air it forms a very high and toxic level of peroxides.

Personally, I find nothing alarming in his arguments. Yes, you need to
take care when using DMSO to not contaminate the DMSO or the skin where
the DMSO is applied. Ok, so be careful. I found nothing online regarding
the formation of very high and toxic level of peroxides. Actually, I

Wow and how sad.

Last night watched an episode of Little House in the Prairie.   Charles Ingalls
got the chance to go to Chicago as rep of Walnut Grove at a national
organisation for farmers/railroad conference.   He was put in a private
compartment on the train, a suite in the plush hotel and wined and dined.. and
then taken aside by a guy who said 'we'll make sure you get your grain lift at
your local station'.  Ingalls was naively delighted.

Later in his hotel room a 'lady of the night' knocks on his door saying she'd
been sent by the head honcho.   He of course refuses.   Next day he goes to the
conference and the same guy takes him aside saying 'so you'll be voting 'no' to
state regulations?'.

Ingalls looked confused and then he got it.   He stood up and spoke his mind at
the farmers meeting, denouncing the bribery and giving up any chance of getting
the much needed grain lift for the local train station.   He travelled home in
the peasants carriage!

In this day and age his equivalent would probably have been blackmailed, gotten
an incurable disease out of the blue or worse still too damned scared  to vote
with his conscience for fear of losing dollars.

Not wanting to make waves has become a national epidemic, very similar to the
one that swept Nazi Germany and occupied Europe.

And it makes perfect sense that Irene Sendler, who rescued 2,500 Jewish
children from the Warsaw Ghetto in her toolbox lost out on the Nobel Prize
to Al Gore who, as someone so eloquently put it, got it for giving a slide show
on the environment which cost zillions of carbon miles to make!

And the shingles marches on.. quite painful now and I'm awaiting various
remedies recommended by all you wonderful listers, on here and elsewhere.

CSScientists find why sunshine vitamin D is crucial

2010-03-08 Thread Norton, Steve

http://www.discoveryon.info/2010/03/vitamin-d.html

The researchers found that immune systems' killer cells, known as T
cells, rely on vitamin D to become active and remain dormant and unaware
of the possibility of threat from an infection or pathogen if vitamin D
is lacking in the blood.

When a T cell is exposed to a foreign pathogen, it extends a signaling
device or 'antenna' known as a vitamin D receptor, with which it
searches for vitamin D, said Carsten Geisler of Copenhagen University's
department of international health, immunology and microbiology, who led
the study.

This means the T cell must have vitamin D or activation of the cell
will cease. If the T cells cannot find enough vitamin D in the blood,
they won't even begin to mobilize.

When a T cell is exposed to a foreign pathogen, it extends a signaling

This means the T cell must have vitamin D or activation of the cell

Hi Steve,

Whenever I hear someone say...stay out of the sun or slather on plenty of
sunscreen if you're going out in the sun, I just shake my head. If they only
knew that it's the vitamin D from the sun that helps prevent skin cancers and
so many other illnesses.

Of course, I'm not advocating that everyone go out and get burned to a
crisp...just get 15 to 20 minutes of sun a day if at all possible.

Interesting article, thanks for sharing.

Re: CSIonic Silver is a Good Wood Preservative

2010-03-08 Thread Dan Nave
The description of the mechanism of antimicrobial action appears to be
very good.

Dan

The mechanisms of the antimicrobial action of
silver can be described as follows (17):

1. Silver ions form insoluble compounds in the cell
wall with (and thereby inactivate) sulfhydryl
groups, which are essential components of enzymes
responsible for transmembranous energy
metabolism and electrolyte transport. The result
is a loss of fluids and electrolytes from the organisms,
which dry out and die.

2. Silver ions block the respiratory chain of bacteria
in the cytochrome oxidase and NADH-succinate-
dehydroginase region.

3. Silver ions enter the cell and bind to bacterial
DNA and bacterial spores. Silver can complex
with electron donor groups that contain oxygen
or nitrogen. Reversible binding of bases occurs
without aggregation or disruption of the double
helix structure of the cell nucleus. Intercalation
of silver can lead to increased stability of the
double helix.

4. Silver ions in low concentrations may penetrate a
bacterial cell and cause structural damage to the
cell envelope. Upon entering the cell, the molecule
may dissociate, after which the silver binds
to the DNA.

5. Metal ions, particularly silver, can also bond to
phosphate groups, forming a positive dipole on
the phosphate, followed by formation of a cyclic
phosphate and cleavage of these molecules at the
phosphodiester bond.

6. Silver DNA complexes occur at bases, which
cause denaturation by displacing hydrogen bonds
between adjacent nitrogens of purines and pyrimidines,
thereby preventing replication.

Note that all these mechanisms relate to solvated silver
ions, Ag+. The antibacterial properties of any metal
come from its ions, which are generated from the neutral
metal (1 5). In the presence of oxygen, metallic silver
can be bactericidal because silver (I) oxide is soluble
enough to release free silver ions (18). When dealing
with metallic silver, though, it is important to note that
antimicrobial activity depends on the extent of the active
silver surface

Mike, awesome job on the archives!

Thank you Alan,

You write:
But I have a question, this seems like a bug. When I'm viewing a
message in the archives, at the top of the page there's a Date link
and a Thread link. I was expecting that when I click Date, for
example, that I'd go to a page showing posts sorted by date, but the
date context would include the previously viewed post. For example, I
was just looking at an email from Nov 1999; when I click Date I
expected to see more emails in that timeframe, instead it went to the
 most recent posts.

Not a bug so much as a limitation. The date and thread indexes are
limited to the most recent 3000 or so posts. I believe this is to keep
the generation of index pages from bogging down due to the size of the
index file... (My speculation based on what has been said by the owners
at various times in my working with them.)

When you're looking at that post from 1999, there are links to
next/last post by date/thread plus at least a partial list of the other
posts in the thread, near the bottom of the page. All of those work as
expected; it's just that there isn't a date or thread index page for
that time.

One of my hopes is to either bring the archiving in-house or else build
a local date/thread index file from their database so we can have a
complete set of indices for navigation.

Be well,

Mike D.
