That was an interesting report on Allicin (from garlic). My wife’s uncle
just died a few weeks ago just shy of his 100th birthday. For years he would
daily eat 9 cloves of garlic on a slice of bread (along with his daily brandy
of course). And we never smelled it on him either. Now, throw in a little CS

Re: CS>Make your own HCQ

2021-02-16 Thread Jim & Pat Steinle
A very interesting website, the americanloons.blogspot. com. Reading the
comments following the article, a person finds both pro and con ideas and
beliefs. The website or blogspot itself I found publishes on many people and
subjects, and appears to be written by those who, if one dares say it, are of a
critical belief in natural health products and even those who have some
religious belief system. So it certainly is possible the HCQ recipe could be
useless – or maybe not. I find most Medical associations including Mayo use
scare tactics in warning about CS. So I don’t trust them either, at least in
connection with products that I have used and found good results in like CS.
It may just be possible the HCQ recipe could help the zinc get in to destroy
the virus.

This lady?
http://americanloons.blogspot.com/2014/02/919-betty-martini.html

Martini has of course no expertise in any relevant field. She refers to herself
as “Dr. Martini”, but this is based on an honorary Doctor of Humanities degree
awarded by an unaccredited religious institution. Her claims have nevertheless
been widely distributed, partly on the basis of an infamous chain e-mail, which
claims that the FDA approval process of aspartame was tainted and that there is
a conspiracy between the FDA and the producers of aspartam. The claims are
allegedly based on a supposed talk by expert Nancy Markle at a recent “World
Environmental Conference.” Someone doing a bit of research would have noticed
that the email was largely identical to messages posted by Martini to Usenet
newsgroups in late 1995 and early 1996 about her, Martini’s, alleged talk at a
“World Environmental Conference.” The Conference is, of course, fictional, and
the existence of Markle (independently of Martini) has, to put it
diplomatically, not been confirmed.

The fact that most of the allegations contained in this theory contradict the
bulk of medical evidence, reality, and reason, is the kind of detail that has
never stopped a good conspiracy theory, and Martini’s misinformation continues
to reemerge 15 years after the e-mail was originally distributed. On the other
hand, the aspartame hoax has become a canonical example of an internet
conspiracy circulated on a number of Internet conspiracy theory and urban
legend websites (e.g. here). For instance, the dissemination of the “Nancy
Markle” letter was considered so notable that the Media Awareness Network
featured one version of it in a tutorial on how to determine the credibility of
a web page .

I have two nebulizers. The oldest is an Airial with tube and mask and the
other I bought on eBay from England; an Omron Micro Air (currently available at
$152.80 with free shipping). I believe I used the Airial system at that time,
which means I only really breathed in about 1/2 of the CS as the rest would
have went into the air when I breathed out.

Re: CS>Make your own HCQ [and cost]

A good point for cost re HCQ. The only reason I try to do my own is I like to
try to do what I can for myself. It’s a learning process for me. Just like
making my own tinctures of various herbs and of course making my own CS without
having to buy it retail. I had a response from one person re. the HCQ recipe
who had written to the original woman about it, but she did not receive an
answer back. So who knows if my homemade HCQ is strong enough or not. But it
is fun trying.

Jim,

Thank you for posting this. However, I have my doubts that there is enough
quinine in the amount of citrus peels used in the recipe to exert any kind of
medically therapeutic effect. The primary components are the citrus compounds
called limonenes--which themselves are highly beneficial--but please be aware
that quinine is obtained from cinchona bark.

About six or eight months ago I wrote to Betty Martini and very respectfully
asked her where she got the research from, but never heard back.

Sometimes, even people we respect can get it wrong. I personally would NOT rely
on Martini's recipe to obtain any substantial amounts of HCQ.

2013-11-14 Thread Pat
After my first Nutribullet got incredibly loud (like a jet airplane taking
off!)at seven months, I put all the parts into a bag and took it to the store.
I couldn't find my receipt. Before I could even tell her my complaint, the
clerk grabbed it away, whisked a new boxed one up to the counter and said thank
you. This one is 10 months old and is still doing well. I'm very careful not
to overfill it, I put 1/2 of the first batch into the smaller container
before I add the yogurt and whey and blend. Then I just stir them together.
Wish the container was just a little bit larger. (or maybe I should just eat
smaller amounts?!)

I've found the perfect product for my feet which were dry, cracked,
calloused; and to ensure it was not just me I had a friend (she only had a
partial foot) whose feet were worse then mine; they are now baby smooth.

What we did was using the egg scraper (it is an item shaped like an egg) and
you scrape off the dead skin... it will still work if you don't get all..

In the evening scape the feet (better if your cleaned them good first; and
are dry).. then all you do is get a your tube (having already procured it).
The best part is you can this from your local Avon distributor and ask for a
4.2 fl oz tube of moisture therapy; intensive healing repair. The next
best thing is the price; I've only spent $1.49 per tube; after finding this
to be the most impressive product; I now order 20 or 30 at a time... I give
them out to people who I run into with similar problems.

The first thing in the morning I apply the treatment to my feet and before
bed I apply another treatment. No need to wrap or continually applying...
this treatment gives results almost immediately!

After seeing the results I began applying on my butt which has had a rash
for years.. it worked! Now I'm also treating my elbows. And just this week
I began apply (after washing) my neck and face.. it feels good, just a
little early for more results to be noticed.

Find your local Avon Rep and order yours and witness the results for
yourself.. what have you to lose but your dry skin and a $1.50.

If you need info on an Avon Rep you can probably google it; or I can send
you information on my Rep. Try not to order where you'll have shipping
charges.

It works.. try it! Then let me know your story.

CSCS Affecting the Stomach

2013-06-10 Thread Pat
If I've been close to someone who has a gastrointestinal disease, I start
dosing myself heavily so I won't come down with it. If I have an ounce or more
of colloidal silver a few times a day, I get a bit of a tummy upset or pain.
Then I wonder if I've caught the disease or if it's from the CS. The mind can
make me so afraid that I feel mild symptoms, but I never actually catch that
kind of disease.

However, I caught a throat and lung thing from my baby granddaughter recently
(she's had so many illnesses which she picked up at day care... she was never
sick a day until two days after she started day care at six months.) Her
parents both got it, too. I held it off from getting full blown for a couple
weeks by drinking (swishing the CS/Gatorade mix as long as I could, then
swallowing) and nebulizing CS. I had laryngitis and a little throat
discomfort, but didn't really feel too bad. Finally, I started coughing a lot
at night. The doc said it had been a virus, but was now a bacterial infection
in the lungs and one ear. She said it was going around a lot. The amoxicillin
knocked it out in two days.

Just to clarify: Yes, Google and other search engines index the
mail-archive for the silver-list. We've had archives off and on for
years now. The current one has been up and running successfully for
several years now, and contains almost every post ever made to the list
since it started.

In addition, realize that there are about 800 members, any of which may
or may not be trustworthy.

One should never post anything anywhere with the assumption that it will
not be seen by the public.

The Silver List used to be private, didn't it? I remember when I heard that it
would now be found with Google searches and that I decided I should try to be a
little more careful about what I say. Of course, some one with poor intentions
could have become a member, but surely they'd get bored and drop out after a
few years. I guess it's good to get the word out on colloidal silver, but I
would rather just have a select group of members able to read my stuff. But, I
was new once, and I remember when a few of you first came on. Oh well, I'm on
facebook, so my whole life is an open book, anyway. lol Did you guys see this
article about how the government is getting all our supposedly private
communications, anyway?

Yep, the entire 15 or so years' worth of the list is archived there.

CSMercury Fillings

2013-04-26 Thread Pat
My dentist said one patient who had fillings removed had her lichen planus go
away. I have two more small fillings, but I worry about the anesthetic
injections (possible long term side effects) and also having to drill into
teeth (which could take even more away and weaken them further?) Having the
large one removed over a year ago (and now even the entire tooth) has done
nothing to improve my aches and pains.

Good Grief! I even proof-read before I hit send. I had my four wisdom teeth
out when I was 16. This tooth which is now missing was the next to the last on
top (not counting the wisdom tooth spot.) It shows when I smile big.

This dentist is a mercury-safe one. He does a zirconia implant which seems to
be a lot more expensive than the regular ones. Their site states, There is no
metal involved. Zirconia is a special type of ceramic,
which is biocompatible and non-irritating to gum tissues. This system
is entirely metal-free, with a comparable success rate and longevity to
titanium implants. Although Zirconia implants are relatively uncommon
in the United States, they have been widely used in Europe for decades.
Extensive clinical studies have proven the safety and effectiveness of
this option.

Pat -- I read your post several times, and I'm still confused. I can't figure
out how you could have a gap, or worry about a missing wisdom tooth showing
-- when wisdom teeth are the further-most back teeth in the mouth, very close
to the jaw hinge. Most people lose their wisdom teeth early on (mine were gone
before I turned 28) and never give them a thought. I've never heard of anyone
having them even filled, much less crowned. Are you sure you're not talking
about one of the molar teeth? If you really are talking about the wisdom
teeth, I'd advise you to save your $4,500.00 -- no one will ever know that the
tooth is gone! Regardless -- don't stop smiling!! :-D

As a software engineer, you may relate to this perspective.

The brain can be considered to be a biological computer. What we
think of as our personality and identify with most of the time is
nothing more than what amounts to a software program, self
perpetuating and rather arbitrarily put together. When it is
stimulated, it tends to run its automatic processes (ie: uncertainty
and/or fear produces stress and anxiety). What maintains this
structure is our internal dialogue, what we say to ourselves over
and over in our minds. If you interrupt that process by calming the
mind and not grasping onto those thoughts you can also interrupt the
automatic cascade of physical symptoms. One good way, and probably
the best way initially, is to let the mind rest on (be aware of) the
breathing rather than resting on the internal dialogue. If the mind
gets caught up in the dialogue, that is OK, just realize it and bring
the attention back to the breathing. Observe any thoughts you have
and let them go on without grasping (mentally) onto them. This will
tend to quiet the mind and short circuit the automatic complexes that
have been operating.

Many difficult and unpleasant things can arise in the mind. All can
be observed and looked at without problem. They will appear and pass
on. The only problem is in grasping onto them which strengthens them
and keeps them in the mind. In reality Fear is a phantasm.

The core of what many consider to be us in a spiritual sense is
pre-thought, particularly pre-verbal thought, and before
discrimination and judgement. That core does not fear or judge it is
merely aware and experiencing, it is more like the awareness of an
infant. This is the master. The personality is due to acquired
conditioning (an acquired software program) and should be the servant.
Because of its undisciplined state it has reversed roles and the
servant has become the master. Quieting the internal dialogue is the
ticket. Also, the implication is that you are not your acquired
conditioning, and that conditioning can be changed or brought under
control.

Just some thoughts.

CSSpay Incontinence in Dogs

2012-08-19 Thread Pat
We let the vet talk us into spaying our nine year old Australian Cattle Dog 2
years ago. She developed urinary incontinence a few weeks later. Our first
dog had that problem, too. The vet put Daisy on one pill of DES per week
(which they supply) which we found makes her sick at night, so I now give 1/2
pill Sunday and 1/4 pill Wednesday. She's never had a problem since she
started DES.

* Diethylstilbestrol (DES) is a synthetic form of the hormone estrogen
that was prescribed to pregnant women between 1940 and 1971 to prevent
miscarriage, premature labor, and related complications of pregnancy.
* Women who took DES during pregnancy have an increased risk of breast
cancer.
* Increased risks of clear cell adenocarcinoma of the vagina and cervix
and of breast cancer have been found for daughters of women who took DES during
pregnancy; fertility problems are also more common among these daughters.
The vet assured me that there is no danger to a woman giving these to the dog
unless she drinks the dog's urine. They make soft formed tablets which the dog
enjoys eating and I can cut them with the scissors. (I get them at the vet's
office, so I assume they form them.) The other choice is the PPA, but you have
to give that every day and I think it only helps 70% of dogs.

Re: CSSpay Incontinence in Dogs

2012-08-19 Thread Pat
Spay Incontinence
After a female dog is spayed, their level of the female hormone,
estrogen, is significantly lower. Estrogen plays a part in constricting
the sphincter muscles dogs use to urinate. The lack of estrogen means a
lack of that tone needed to control her sphincter. The adrenal glands
also produce estrogen, albeit in small amounts. This is usually enough
to keep the sphincter muscles working properly, but in about 20% of
cases, this isn't so. Male dogs also suffer this (with the lack of
testosterone) however it's not generally as much of a problem as it is
with female dogs.

I had a root canaled tooth and the filling on it broke and became painful.
When I finally got to the dentist (I waited too long) he put in a temporary
cap.
Even with anaesthesia that tooth was extremely sensitive. He thought it might
be the neighboring wisdom tooth, but I didn't think so. In any event, the next
day it was still really painful and I thought I was going to have to call him
and cancel the cap and have it pulled. But in a moment of lucidity, I decided
to try my godzilla. I applied the sponges to each cheek for only 20 min. Pain
was eliminated and has remained so. Godzila rocks!

I easily destroyed several bacterial
infections in the roots of my teeth as well as cavitations in teeth. I used a
Godzilla… a battery hooked up to two wires with sponges on the ends used
as electrodes. The DC current kills the bacteria instantly inside the tooth or
root. You can use as little as 1 ½ volts or up to 6 volts but no higher. 9
volts is dangerous and overkill in any event. Just a flashlight battery will
do. Go to microelectricitygermkiller group on Yahoo for info and schematics on
how to make the device… it costs less than $10 and has saved me thousands
in dental bills. Good luck.

You did the correct thing.

According to Dr. Mercola
During a root canal, there is no way to
sterilize your tooth; after the root canal, dangerous bacteria hide out in the
tooth and are unreachable with antibiotics
· Root-canaled
and filled teeth harbor bacteria that morph into very toxic forms, which then
can migrate to other tissues in your body and cause serious medical conditions,
including diseases of your heart, kidneys, bones, and brain
· There
is no other medical practice that permits leaving a dead body part inside your
body, because it triggers your immune system to attack
· If
you have a diseased tooth, or if you’ve already had a root canal, I
highly recommend consulting a biological dentist about have it extracted

This is interesting. I started Myristin CMO Sunday. Monday night, my knee (a
partial replacement 2 years ago) woke me with a pain unlike anything I'd felt,
just a mild sharp ache that wouldn't go away with movement. Then the next day,
I was having a burning achiness to my hernia scar (from 35 years ago) which
lasted several hours. I hadn't felt anything like that before, either, and I
wondered if it had anything to do with taking the CMO. I took it for a few
weeks maybe 4 years ago, but don't remember any strange pains.

When I went to the hospital for surgery, I asked my husband to spray the
surroundings before I was moved to the room. (Don't know if he did, he can't
remember doing so and he'd had to go to the emergency room and eye doc for pain
and swelling after he dropped me off at the hospital.) Also, I took a Dasani
bottle which I'd filled with colloidal silver and had a few sips from that each
day.

If you spray everything.is that going to leave dark stains all over the
nice
new place? I always spray everything before showering at truck stops, but feel
guilty about staining. Course, they should be cleaning well between customers.

Dear Day,
We have been unsuccessful in
achieving any benefit from CS.as an address for
any form of arthritis. However, we HAVE achieved near phenomenal
results in addressing the entire
litany of arthritis insults (all forms) affecting any of the
articulating joints in the human body
via the implementation of a simple Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) protocol.
Independent researches confirmed.year ago
(circa 1975) that CMO was VERY EFFECTIVE in controlling/remedying the
negative influence of T-cells within the
joint capsules of all articulating jointsamong higher
mammalsincluding humans.
I will not burden you with an extended litany
of the documented causes of the various presentations of
arthritis manifesting among humans..but I will summarize the
DOCUMENTED research efforts of reliable, INDEPENDENT
RESEARCH SCIENTISTS. Basically, what seems to occur within the human
community is that sometime near mid-=life
(usually around 55 years chronologically) the T-cells present in the
fluid of the articulating joints (most especially the extremities)
seem to lose the ability to differentiate between LIVE and DEAD tissue
(within the capsule joint area). What this means is that
the T-cells, literally, begin to consume a portion of ALL exposed
tissue within the synovial fluid within the capsuled environment.
This leads to tissue erosion---sometimes quite rapid. This attack
affects both ligaments and cartilagewithout differentation /
preference. What CMO does is that it, simply, TURNS OFF the
T-cellsthus, stopping the insult. The body, then, can effect
repairs and maintain the restoration effect. As a general rule, only
one 10 day protocol of 6 capsules (divided into 3 dosages)
daily (#2 gelatin size) has, generally, been sufficient to remedy the
vast majority of ALL ARTICULATING JOINT INSULTS
-at least such has been our experience since we inaugurated this
protocol in 1994. In about 85% of the cases ONLY one
course of the protocol was required for a long-term or permanent
effect. Additionally, we have determined the validity of
the claim that CMO demonstrates excellent efficacy as a BENEFICIAL
IMMUNE SYSTEM MODULATOR (when taken at
reduced levels of around 400 to 500 mg daily).
I can , with confidence, state that we have achieved what
we regard as near-miraculous results among a large population of
volunteers
(over the immediately-past 15 years) through the application of this
simple protocol. CMO is completely non-toxic (actually, it is quite
near to butter.in composition).
CMO may be obtained from a myriad of sources, via the
internet. If one is concerned with cost, I recommend obtaining CMO
in bulk form. Our most reliable supplier of powdered CMO, in both

I'm interested in it for my son's Great Dane. He licked his rear foot until it

they

let him out with no cover on it, he licked it raw again. They tried colloidal
silver, but they probably didn't spray it on often enough. Or, dab it,
rather.he hates spray. This has been going on for months.

CS is colloidal particles of silver mixed with ionicsilver. It is
effective

on viruses, bacteria, yeasts and fungi. Itis also effective on at least
some protozoa, but not directly effective onparasites. It cannot penetrate
into the lymph system, and is believed by manyto also be blocked by the
blood brain barrier.

MMS is sodium chloritewhich when mixed with an acid evolves chlorine
dioxide. the chlorinedioxide has some effect on viruses, bacteria, yeasts
and fungi. I thinkit is less effective than CS on most if not all of
these. It is veryeffective on parasites, and can penetrate into the lymph

Re: CSMercury Filling removal - anesthesia

2010-11-11 Thread Pat
Hi. Today I went to the mercury safe dentist. His office was beautiful, the
staff kind and competent, and everything went well. They had me select a movie
and put headphones on (this really helped!) While drilling the filling out,
they wore respirators and I had an oxygen mask. They put a rubber dam in place
and used lots of water.

I asked him what kind of injection anesthesia he uses, and he asked why I
wanted
to know. I said someone said they've had problems with their tongue ever since
Septocaine was used. He said that can happen with any type and that it does
happen once in a while. He said it couldn't happen with an upper tooth being
worked on. At one point the tooth started hurting again, so he gave me another
injection.

After things were all clean, the dentist dusted my teeth, took images, then
used
a computer device to plan the tooth crown. He made one, but wasn't happy with
it, so modified it and made another. Then he polished it and it's great. The
nurse showed me to the restroom to rinse my mouth with mouthwash and wipe my
face with a hot washcloth. One dental visit, under two hours.

I got nervous and trembling a few times, (dental phobia thing) but each time
I'd
do EFT in my head and the trembling stopped instantly.

Just an FYIIF IF IF there is any overlaying illness such as chronic
fatigue/fibromyalgia/hypothyroidism/MCS/EI present we may not clear the
usual local mouth anesthesia of have a mild reaction we have considered
normal just because it is the way we have always felt after dental work
requiring injection anesthesia. I am thankful a dentist actually lookd
at

my medical history and said You know I just attended a workshop and
they
said that Carbocaine is the anesthesia of choice for folks like you
because
it does not clear by the same pathways that lidocaine does and they said
that since the epinepherine can cause you some problems too, I'll use
plain
Carbocaine. WOW the difference in recovery was amazing, none of the
jaw

sensations or body flu like symptoms.

He was also the doc that refused to use a dam in my mouth because It
would take so much time in my chair and you will do just fine when he
removed a mercury filling. I was at the very end of dental insurance
and

he was willing to say I needed the fillings replaced, s. I had
to

go through major detox because he would not use that dam, and probably
because so far as I knew it was the last mercury in my mouth..and I
could not afford a biologic dentist.

Although I have not had any need for any mouth anesthesia in the last 8
years (Yea!). I have made my new dentist note that if I need injectable
anesthesia he is to use only Carbocaine for me - - - reply from dental
tech

and dentist No problem, we have it right here as the tech reached into
the drawer to show it to me.

Pat, we are hoping things go well for the mercury removal!

Re: CSMercury Filling

2010-11-05 Thread Pat
Thanks for all the suggestions about what do to help clear the body of mercury.

I'll have to do more reading about how to use clay (I have some, but don't know
if it's the right kind or how to do it) and find out how to use activated
charcoal. Luckily I'm already taking some of the recommended supplements.

Last night after much searching, I'd decided to stick with my dentist of 21
years. He hasn't used mercury fillings in maybe 20 years. He does nice work
and makes sure the bite is perfect. I looked online and out of over 100
dentists in this area, there is only one mercury-safe dentist. I figured if
all
those very intelligent dentists don't think the mercury is an issue for their
health and that of their patients and staff, then maybe it's overblown.

I thought I'd be required to have an expensive consultation and checkup and
possibly x-rays if I went to a new dentist. Today I called, and the price is a
little under $1,000 for a crown at the mercury safe dentist, which is very
little over the amount I was quoted from my own. They said I wouldn't have to
see him before the appointment. So, the only problem is that once I see that
one which is about 1 1/2 hour away, I can't go back to my old one. I know
nothing of this new one's work. But at least I know he's cautious and believes
in doing all he can to help one's health. This has been nerve-wracking! I've
always had a fear of dentists even though this one has only given me maybe two
seconds of pain in all these years. I sure hate the though of going to someone
new.

on the CS list for pets, there was a few posts about giving a specific type of
beer to dogs to stop all parasitic worms--you must have the Irish imported
Guinness with the black label on the bottle. not extra stout, but a different
name which I can't remember right now. the dose rate was 1 ounce of beer to 25
pounds of dog. it was allowed to set out so that it became flat (so it didn't
make gas in the dog) and then it could either be given directly as a drink or
poured over food. it was also said to cure

ehrichisis (sp). it is given once, and then 2 weeks later given again. after
that it is given once a month.

in the case of heartworms, the dog is checked in 2 months for worms in the
filia
stage, and if found, then the original dose (twice the first month) was given
again.

it kills the parasites by being seen as food by them, so they don't reject it,
or send out poison trying to get the dog to stop taking it (like medicine does)
but it makes them sterile so they can't reproduce. it is said to work on all
but whip worms, if I remember right.

since ehrichisis comes from ticks, we were also told the beer helped control
that disease. the lady that posted these messages is no longer on the group, I
think--at least she hasn't posted for a long time. but if you join the group
you can go back and read the original messages about this.

CSShingles

2010-09-01 Thread Pat
About seven weeks ago while touring the west, my husband had itching on his
back. I looked and there were four red bumps in a row, so I put Benadryl itch
stick on them. After a day or two, there were a couple more bumps. Then I
thought poison ivy and started colloidal silver spray. After another day or
so,
he said they didn't only itch, but it hurt inside. Then I realized it was
shingles (which I've never seen before.) They eventually covered a four or
five
inch square on his back plus a few under his arm and below the nipple.

We started dabbing on very strong colloidal silver mixed with DMSO three or
four
times a day. (90% CS with about 10% DMSO which is 70% strength) This would
always sooth the pain for a while. He also sprayed a few quirts of CS orally
about three times a day. He'd take an Aleve if the pain was bothering him,
usually when he was trying to sleep.

He said it felt like a bullet wound in his back. Gradually it got better,
mostly he had itching and low grade pain. The spots scabbed over and faded
quite a lot. But here it is weeks later, and it was still there, so Monday he
started drinking a couple ounces colloidal silver mixed with 3 ounces Gatorade
three or four times a day (I'd told him he should do this at the beginning, but
he didn't.)

He was in so much pain last night and is still having pain this morning. It's
like it was at the beginning, the bullet wound pain. So, why did using the
colloidal silver internally cause the pain to flair up again? I'm so worried
about post herpetic neuralgia. I wonder if he should continue drinking the CS.

For dry eye, my ophthalmologist recommends any brand of eye lubricating drops

2010-08-18 Thread Pat

Someone on another list told me this after about three months of trying it: I
also wanted to thank you for recommending the Super-R Lipoic Acid for the pain
on the bottom of my feet. I've been taking it since February and though I'm not
100% better, there is a remarkable difference. No doctor has been able to
suggest anything that has come close to helping as much as this has.

Sol, I can't remember if you said you've tried ALA or R lipoic acid. I've been
traveling for two months in the western part of the US, so have gotten behind
and still have over 200 messages to read to catch up. We went right past your
neck of the woods, I think.through Rock Springs and Rawlins. Quite
different than last time I saw them during a blizzard in winter.

What I read was half cup magnesium chloride flakes to half cup waterBut I
ended up adding more flakes than that. At least a cup of flakes. You will know
when too many flakes have been added because they won't dissolve. No big deal.
Just decant the good liquid into another container and leave the flakes behind
for your next batch

I am using my home made magnesium oil...

Mag oil is just water that has had as much magnesium chloride flakes added to
it as possible

Is the medical laser more powerful than the normal ones we use? If so,
wouldn't it cook the blood and skin? Is it just one light?

I'm sorry you're heading for knee replacement, but I've never heard anyone say
they were sorry they had it done (after a few months lol.) I had a partial
done a bit over a year ago. I had problems with tendonitis and bursitis which
started ten weeks after surgery. I found the BoneSmart forum a lifesaver.
It's for people with hip or knee replacements. A friendly, supportive place.
When I had surgery, I took colloidal silver in a Dasani water bottle with my
name on the cap and took a few swigs each day to prevent MRSA.

I am glad I bought my LLL back in about 1985 for
$150. My LLL was a 2 watt 904 nm infrared laser
used for Lab purposes, not a medical laser, even then a medical laser version
(Polaris) cost about $2000. I bought my lab laser from Information Unlimited,
Amherst, NH. phone 8002211705. Dr Gordon even said it worked the same
as his Polaris laser, and even said why not build your own as he knew I
worked in Electronics. This unit would seal a cut with new skin in 30
minutes. DR Gordon used the Polaris on his son after he had
arthoscopic surgery on his knee cartilage while playing football at UCLA.
One week after surgery he told his coach he was ready to play again. He made
the
first team and got two rose bowl rings so it healed pretty well.

I might require a total knee replacement as the bone on bone is getting
pain that keeps going even in bed. I used 4 bottles of CMO plus the amega
wand and still can barely walk. I doubt that my DR will allow me to bring in my
laser but I might bring the amega wand to the Hospital. When Gordon used
the laser after knee surgery they had his Surgeon not cover the incision so
the laser could directly reach the incision. From what I have read the amega
wand reduces pain similar to the LLL .

Hi. I'm fine, thanks. The tincture of cayenne didn't harm my stomach or mouth.
I'd just be concerned about giving some to a person who was half out of it.
Two or three droppers would run down the throat and possibly into the windpipe.
I just can't imagineit's not like the burn stops quickly (or at all?) I'd
like to hear some real-life stories from people who have done this. (hahaha,

Well, I'm still alive today, so I guess last night's event was caused by
stomach rather than heart. (Or Cayenne works for heart problems.) I had chest
pain when I went to bed, but not too bad. I thought perhaps the salsa verde
with 1/4 fresh onion and tortilla chips (I love very hot salsa, but this I'd
eaten wasn't very hot.) followed a couple hours later with pineapple yogurt
were causing problems. But I couldn't tell at all where the pain originated. I
awoke in the night with more pain. Had a little pain in both arms evenly. I
got the cayenne tincture and drank 10 drops in 4 oz water. Wow, what a burn!
Drank another glass of water. I went back to bed and later awoke again with
pain.

I remembered (I thought) that one could put the tincture right under the
tongue. So, in bed, I dropped a few drops straight under the tonguedon't
know how many. Couldn't feel anything for several seconds. Then all of a
sudden, a flash fire!!! I clawed my way out of bed and jumped up and ran to
the sink for water. I drank several small cups while tears poured from my
eyes. The burn was intense. I felt I could hardly breathe. I was swaying
around and silently screaming. I finally thought maybe I'd damaged my mouth
and grabbed the colloidal silver spray bottle. I sprayed and swished and spit
out (because it was so foamy) several mouthfuls. Finally the pain faded to a
level where I could get back to bed. Mouth pain, I mean.the chest pain was
almost secondary after that lol. Today there is just a very slight feeling of
discomfort.

My advicedon't ever use tincture of cayenne straight!

I had a similar problem on the underside of wrist and realized I was flirting
with carpal tunnel syndrome.
Does it hurt to put pressure on your fingers?
I cured it with DMSO (70%) over which I put a generous layer of Topricin Cream.
Did this at least two, three times a day.
Highly recommend the Topricin with DMSO.
Topricin is designed for carpal tunnel and stops the DMSO from itching.
Also cured tennis elbow (bad case!) that same way.
Don't know much about the laser treatment, I'm interested in learning about
that myself.

Re: CSasthma

2010-03-31 Thread Pat
This is from Life Extension Foundation

The February 2010 issue of the Journal
of Asthma published the findings of a clinical trial involving
adults with mild to moderate asthma which noted improvements in asthma
control and quality of life after six months of supplementation with
magnesium.
Alexandra Kazaks, PhD of Bastyr
University in Kenmore, Washington, along with colleagues at the
University of California, Davis, randomized 55 asthmatic men and women
aged 21 to 55 to receive 340 milligrams per day magnesium as magnesium
citrate or a placebo for 6.5 months. Bronchial responsiveness, as
assessed by a methacholine challenge test, and pulmonary function,
assessed by spirometry, were evaluated before and after the treatment
period. Questionnaires designed to assess asthma control and quality of
life were administered at the beginning and end of the study, and
exhaled nitric oxide and serum C-reactive protein were measured to
evaluate bronchial and systemic inflammation. Additionally, magnesium in serum,
red blood cells and urine, and total body magnesium stores were
analyzed. Dietary intake of magnesium was quantified via 24-hour dietary
records completed prior to the initial visit and at 3 and 6.5 months.
There were no significant changes
in markers of magnesium status or inflammation observed between baseline and
end of study values or between the treatment and placebo groups.
Nevertheless, bronchial reactivity improved in the group that received
magnesium, as indicated by an increase in the concentration of
methacholine required to result in a 20 percent decrease in forced
expiratory volume. Improvements were also observed in peak expiratory
flow rate, and subjective assessments of asthma control and quality of
life.
The authors remark that
interactions of magnesium with calcium and the influence of the mineral
on the cell membrane confer anti-inflammatory and bronchodilatory
properties that could help improve asthma control. They suggest that the
shorter duration of previous studies that failed to find significant
benefits for magnesium in asthma control may not have been sufficient to effect
improvements. Although there is conflicting research regarding
magnesium supplementation and asthma outcomes, this study adds to the
body of research that shows a beneficial response to magnesium
supplementation in people who have mild to moderate asthma, they
conclude.

Asthma
During as asthma attack, a cascade of events is launched that results in the
production of histamine and
leukotrienes. Leukotrienes are derived from the inflammatory arachidonic acid.
These inflammatory mediators cause a host of changes in bronchial tissue: they
trigger a dramatic increase in mucus secretion and a
simultaneous rapid constriction of the bronchial smooth muscle, which
narrows the bronchial tubes and reduces the amount of air that can pass
through them. Over the course of the subsequent few hours, inflammatory
cells move into the area, capillaries begin to leak fluid, and direct
tissue damage occurs, triggering further inflammation and swelling. The
net result is wheezing and coughing and eventual trapping of air in the
alveoli (a tiny, thin-walled, capillary-rich sac in the lungs, or air
sac) and smaller airways. This air trapping is most dangerous to the
asthmatic because it progressively limits the amount of air that can be
exchanged between the lungs and the blood stream, eventually causing
rising carbon dioxide levels and falling oxygen levels. The increased
muscular effort required to move air increases oxygen demand, tissue
metabolism, and acid production, eventually resulting in exhaustion and, in
extreme cases, respiratory collapse and arrest.
Why the bronchial tubes become so
sensitive in asthmatics is not fully understood, but research suggests
that immune-system cells known as T cells play a central role. Some T
cells induce inflammation to fight off a foreign threat, while others
reduce inflammation once the threat has subsided. Conditions such as
asthma, in which the body overreacts to threats, may be related to an
imbalance or malfunction of these and other immune-system components
(Tosca MA et al 2003; Howard TD et al 2002; Ray A et al 2000).
The idea behind nutritional
supplementation is to disrupt this inflammatory cascade whenever
possible. For example, omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to inhibit
the production of arachidonic acid, which reduces the concentration of
inflammatory leukotrienes (Wong KW 2005). Other nutrients, such as
curcumin, interfere with other causative factors in the inflammatory
cascade, such as inhibiting nuclear factor kappa beta and an enzyme that
converts arachidonic acid to leukotriene B4.
Several studies have indicated
that patients with asthma have lower levels of magnesium within the
cells lining the airways. When daily magnesium supplementation was given to
children with mild to moderate asthma,

Serrapeptase has shown itself to be very good at completely clearing arteries.
My wife's blood pressure went down with blood pressure from 150/100 to 115/65
without taking medicine blood pressure medicine after only one month of taking
it. I believe that the heart surgeons would have to find another job if
everyone would try that before surgery.

Caution, to NOT take too much at once. If you have blocked arteries it needs to
be removed slowly, if you take too much, chunks can break off and cause a
stroke. But this is not a problem, it will clear vessels usually within a month
or two.

We initially took 2 capsules of SerraGold 100,000 IU a day, And once our blood
pressure was normal and all the blockage gone (in about a month), we shitched
to Drs 40.000 Best one a day for maintenance.

Larry,
I have been using either Bright Eyes or CAN-C for about a year now (with a few
gaps): CAN-C we are just finishing up 3 boxes of (6 bottles). I had great hopes
for it, but have to say at my last eye exam just a few weeks ago the cataracts
were still present, and the one in the left eye may have been just a tad worse
(or not). The only good news is there has been no significant INCREASE in the
cataract in either eye, Which may be due to the CAN-C and Bright Eyes, or may
be due to the CS / MSM / DMSO eye drops I also use at times ( I stopped for
over a month after a vitreous detachment in the left eye.
I also would really like to skip cataract surgery, and am very lucky the
vitreous detachment (which seems to have been total) did not cause a retinal
tear or detachment. In my case the left eye Suffered an inflammation after the
vitreous detachment, Which is now apparently gone, but I have months yet to
think about cataract surgery, as it can not be done until it is certain the
inflammation is entirely gone. And I'm left with a large obtrusive floater
floater and a filmy, and the eye surgeon says cataract surgery may enable me to
see the floaters even better, Which Is Not a Desirable thing, in my own
opinion, LOL.
I too want to put surgery off for the rest of my life ideally and that desire
is even stronger since the vitreous detachment and the subsequent inflammation.
But I have not succeeded in getting rid of the cataracts after a year of trying
(though I seemed to be having success for the first couple of months of drops).

all calm down and reason will return soon lol dee PS I suppose I could
test my blood sugars and see if they have gone up, but then, all these levels
are different from hour to hour so I don't see the point really.

The point of blood sugar testing for is (for me) to see what foods raise blood
glucose unacceptably. The reason I started testing again is that I was having
some strange symptoms that didn't seem to fit other causes, so I wanted to see
if my blood sugar was going wonky, and indeed it was--going too high, remaining
high too long. I expected from symptoms it would be too low, but it was the
opposite.
Blood sugar does vary a lot in the course of a day, but it doesn't really
have to. It is possible to find which foods send it soaring then and stop
eating those foods.
I am looking at blood sugar stabilization because it is something I have not
previously tried in my search to eliminate or further reduce chronic stubborn
symptoms I have that cause me loss of quality of life, and loss of physical
functionality, as in I can't do what I want to do, and I consider myself
partially disabled because of limited ability to do basic daily things I used
to do without even thinking about them (decades ago). For the past 15 or so
years, I have to ration everything I do on the basis of the amount of pain and
further limited mobility it might cause due to increased pain, and/or how much
energy it will use up that might be better used doing something else, even if
no extra pain is produced.
Anyone familiar with the spoon theory will know what I mean. Every single
thing I do in a day is a trade off for something else I won't be able to do
because of what I did choose to do.
The good news is that I have improved to where I no longer need canes (2) or
walking sticks to get around, and I can do more than just get my morning shower
(some days in the past I didn't used to be able to even shower). Back then,
I'd have thought myself very well indeed to be where I am mostly at today, but
I am finding that this still isn't the kind of life I want, so I keep trying
things to see if I can get more improvement. Unfortunately
most of the things I've tried seem to only result in setbacks which it is
dismayingly difficult to crawl up from. At some point, I need to give up
trying for further improvement and consider this as good as it gets.
But so far I have been too stubborn to do that, and as my husband is wont to
say hope springs infernal. I keep hoping for something better, when I should
probably just be grateful I'm not in a wheelchair, which seemed to be in my
near future a few years ago. I am grateful I
am not sick half or more of every year with colds or flu as I used to be in
pre-CS decades. There is no condition so bad that a really nasty long cold

CSVitamin D, Vitamin A, and Cancer

2010-03-13 Thread Pat
This Vitamin D Council newsletter was interesting, concerning vitamin A and cod
liver oil.
http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/newsletter/vitamin-d-vitamin-a-and-cancer.shtml
I'll try to copy and paste, but it might be too long.

The Vitamin D NewsletterFebruary 2010

Vitamin D, Vitamin A, and Cancer
A Remarkable Paper
A few weeks ago, the British Medical Journal published a
remarkable paper, remarkable that it studied more than 500,000 subjects,
remarkable that it had 56 (fifty-six) authors, remarkable that it
confirmed low vitamin D levels obtained in the past are a risk
factor for developing colon cancer in the future. However, the most
remarkable part of the paper is that the 46 scientists minimized the
true significance of their own research. They found that vitamin A, even in
relatively low amounts, appears
to thwart vitamin D's association with reduced rates of colon cancer. Jenab M,
et al. Association
between pre-diagnostic circulating vitamin D concentration and risk of
colorectal cancer in European populations:a nested case-control study. BMJ
2010;340:b5500.
This is a prospective nested case-controlled study, which means it
uses subject's vitamin D blood samples obtained and frozen in the past
and then reviews their medical records into the future to see who gets
colon cancer, comparing the study subjects to similar members of the
group that did not get the illness. Dr. Mazda Jenab and his 45
colleagues from the International Agency for Research on Cancer
confirmed that low vitamin D levels are a risk for colon cancer in a
dose response manner; those with the highest levels were about twice as
less likely to develop colon cancer compared to those with the lowest
levels.
Vitamin A and the U-shaped Curve
However, hidden on page eight is one sentence and a small table,
which shows that the benefits of vitamin D are almost entirely negated
in those with the highest vitamin A intake. And the retinol intake did not have
to be that high in these older adults to begin to negate vitamin D's effects,
about 3,000 IU/day. Remember, young autistic
children often take 3,500 IU of retinol a day in their powdered multivitamins,
which doesn't count any additional vitamin A given in high, single doses.
Pancreatic Cancer
This is the largest study to date showing vitamin A blocks vitamin
D's effect and explains some of the anomalies in other papers on vitamin D and
cancer. For example, Dr. Rachael
Stolzenberg-Solomon of the NIH conducted two similar studies on pancreatic
cancer, with startling
different results. Her first paper showed high vitamin D levels tripled
the subsequent risk of pancreatic cancer, her second paper showed no
effect. The difference, the first was conducted in a cod liver oil
country, Finland, the second in the United States. Stolzenberg-Solomon RZ, et
al. A prospective nested case-control study of vitamin D status and pancreatic
cancer risk in male smokers. Cancer Res. 2006 Oct
15;66(20):10213–9. Stolzenberg-Solomon RZ, et al. Serum vitamin D and risk of
pancreatic cancer in the prostate,
lung, colorectal, and ovarian screening trial. Cancer Res. 2009 Feb
15;69(4):1439–47.
Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is another
good example. Ten similar studies have been conducted on vitamin D blood levels
and the risk of subsequent prostate cancer. Dr. Lu Yin of the
German Cancer Research Center reviewed them in detail. Eight of the
studies found no relationship but two studies found a U shaped curve,
that is, an increased risk of prostate cancer at both lower and higher
vitamin D levels. You guessed it; both of these studies were from Nordic
countries where cod liver oil consumption is rampant. Yin L, Raum E, Haug U,
Arndt V,
Brenner H. Meta-analysis of longitudinal studies: Serum vitamin D and prostate
cancer risk. Cancer Epidemiol. 2009
Dec;33(6):435–45.
So why is there no relationship between vitamin D levels and the
future risk of prostate cancer? All the subjects had their vitamin D
levels checked in the late 1980s or 1990s, well into the sun-scare but
before the vitamin D revolution.
So how did these older people get high levels of vitamin D back then?
Multivitamins? No, they only contained a meaningless 400 IU. Vitamin D
supplements? No, they were not widely available back then and only
contained a meaningless 200 to 400 IU of vitamin D if available.
Sunshine? Maybe, but I doubt it. Studies have shown that the elderly
were the first to abide by sun-avoidance advice; anyway, the elderly
lose the ability to make vitamin D from sunshine; it takes the elderly
up to ten times more time in the sun than the young to make an
equivalent amount of vitamin D.
Cod Liver Oil and Retinol
However, the elderly of many countries, not just Nordic countries,
were raised on cod liver oil and I suspect that a sizable number of
Americans continue to take cod liver oil as they age. While cod liver
oil from the 1980s and 90s had higher amounts of

When the day is warm enough, I go out with a jacket and shorts to get

I'd gotten my level up two years ago from 14 in February to a near perfect 55

Have any of you had the vitamin D blood test?'ve Heard that in the

CSVitamin D

2010-03-12 Thread Pat
I am 60. I get over 2,000 units vitamin D a day in pill form. I'm in the
western part of South Carolina, USA at Latitude: 34.8525.

Two years ago, I hadn't heard about vitamin D deficiency, but luckily my doctor
made me get the 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood test and a vitamin B-12 test. I was
astounded when my vitamin D level was 14. So, the next summer it was 55, then
last February it was 46. I'm not taking less than I was last year, but I've
not been able to sit in the sun as much, I guess. I'm thinking about calling
the doctor's office back and asking the nurse to make sure she read it right.
She was stuttering around about the date, then she just said it's normal level.
I said I need to know the number, so she came up with 25.
