if I've closed all the windows when I exit I have it set up to open certain

I had a similar problem with my computer and it turned out to be one of my
usb ports and/or my card reader. These are the kinds of things you don't
bring to the repair guy so it only happens at home. Look for something
like that and see if it makes a difference.

You can embed pictures in gmail. There's an icon on the tool bar showing a
picture. Click on it and then you can browse on your computer for the
picture you want. I do add an attachment as well to be sure.

I have a number of problems but the latest and most debillitating is that I
can't install Adobe Flash Player. It came up as being insecure so I
followed instructions and uninstalled the ones I had on my computer. It
took a bunch of tries and a special program Adobe offered to be sure
It would be wonderful if these discs were permanent places to save things
but they aren't. I'm not sure how long they last but it isn't a place to
leave things forever. Each piece of media, from floppy disks on had
increased shelf life but we're still not where these things are foolproof.
