Gary, I would suggest that you turn on SQL logging (on the ARS server) and trap the SQL that is being issued by the two clients. We recently (this past weekend) think we have identified a bug in the v7.1 patch 2 Mid-tier with respect to SQL menus using field references. Maybe the bug also

Yes - this is a natural usage of Kinetic Request. Do people on ARSList want a live open demo? WebEx? If so - let me know and I will schedule it. (The below is all done through configuration -- not ARS development) Basically - you create a form. Then you create tasks that are tied to that form.
