Notifications that are affected.
I have on support group that has 4 members. All Group Notifications that
are triggered by ITSM are only being sent to 1 member of the group.
I tried removing the individuals from the group. No luck.
I verified that all are set up for email notifications.
Anybody ever
I checked and we're ok there. I think the key to this issue is that only
some of the people in the group are affected. Others still get the Group
Notifications.
Thanks for the suggestion Marcelo!

All,
Got a fun one for you:
Using the ITSM Support Group form we've disabled group notifications on all our
support groups. (There's a reason but not worth going into here)
The problem with doing this is if I ever want to allow a group notification in
some small section of an ITSM application
only by an
authorized State Official.

Just rolled this version out live for the company and group
notifications for incident records are not triggering.
Notifications are not being sent when an Incident is assigned to a
Group. Notifications are sent when an Incident is assigned to an
individual
Do you have a record in the NTE:CFG-Notification Events form with Notification
Event Type = System, Module Name = Incident and Notification Event =
Assignment? Are the Group Notifications set to Yes? That should be the NTE
CFG record for incident notification.

Hi,
If you have an User-notification defined, it should take precedence over
the System-setting.
Just add a User-defined notification that does NOT send an email for these
individuals.

Hi
Can someone please assist? How do I disable Group Notifications in ITSM 7.1. I
have users that are part of a group however some of the users do not want to
receive the email notifications.
In the People form there is an option to disable it, however it does not allow
me to do so.
Thanks
To disable notifications at the group level you will need to add an entry to
the NTE:CFG-Notificaiton Evens form.

Try creating email groups (like distribution lists) on your email server and
send a single email to that group email and let the email server distribute
that single email..
That way you cut down traffic from the notification engine, but still notify
everyone you want..

Hi list!
We are currently using AR Server 7.0.03 patch 006. I was wondering if
there's a way to configure group notifications to use a single email
address (distribution list) rather than sending individual email
messages to each group member. Can this be done via configuration or
would
something like this without breaking 100 things.
This solution could work for a custom app though.
