Hi.I have seen the auto walking bug on my computer as well. It can happen if the screen resolution is set wrong, or if some other software is trying to minimize Swamp. Then Swamp starts to act weird and  the mouse and keyboard starts to act weird as well. It might be an update to Windows 10 which conflicts with Visual Basic, I don't know.

Hmm, I don't remember, since it's very long time since I played it. I remember something by guiding the bomb upwards and then to the right, but I don't remember exactly how to do it. It was mainly the platforming which made me give up on the game.

So, I've discovered a few things:1. Golden herbs really aren't as good as they're cracked up to be, but they're still pretty nice.2. If you try to take a bear into the king cup, the game freezes. Any king cup, it doesn't matter which. I'm very, very annoyed at the moment. I've put a ton of effort into this thing, have all the king cups coming up in sequence here (and I even skipped one just to see if it was one in particular)...and no joy. So I can't test any of my theories about those still-locked competitions I can't get into, even with super-high stats across the board and damn near everything unlocked.3.slightspoilersGood news about bears though: oh my god are they brutal. They have a move called Bear Cross that has almost no startup time, does huge damage and then lags like crazy, so I like to sorta chain moves and finish with it. A favourite strat for me is Sneeze (which delays the monster), followed by Zoom Punch (which isn't super fast but has almost no lag afterword, followed by Fury Swipes, followed by Punch/Scratch, followed by Bear Cross. Fang Crash is bad, Upper is just overshadowed by other things, Screaming is meh, and Smash is just overshadowed.endspoiler4. I think the only thing I really have to do now is to unlock that last secret monster (wheel or whatever it's called. I do hope the bugs get fixed semi-soonish. I'm really itching to know what shiny herb does.

Hey! Glad to hear you're ok Aprone! I have to agree, I don't think its a bug either. But to insure you don't accidentally walk your char out the safe zone, do what I do when I step away from the game for a few.I dropp down into the mini gun, or any machine gun, something you can brace, this will prevent you from taking a few steps too far if you do bump your mouse or touch pad.Also, you could  use the m40 as well just hit the letter T once you do, since it puts you into a prone, or laying down position.I guess I'm not seeing which threads Aprone is posting to as that is a good indicator if he's still active, and is well. lolAlso, I was curious, I had an idea for us HC folks if it was possible to code this in a future update, if, there's gonna be a future update...Maybe we can have an option in the safe zone menu that can transport us to our fort? If there are multiple forts we can go to, perhaps set a default fort, or if its not a problem to code, give a menu of fort locations to go to. Our fort is on map 5, and its kinda a bitch to travel there from map1. lol Just looking for a slightly easier way to get there is all.Thanks for considering my idea anyway.

Sadly no, you can read the subtitles with the windows 10 app with narrator, but they don't get read automatically.You have to keep going back and forth over the area that desplays the subtitles.I could be wrong, but the only operating system that I know of that reads Netflix subtitles automatically is iOS.

@post 9: where do I actually change my synth to vocaliser? when I open the voice adjustment dialog, the first thing that appears is voice profile, and there I select vocaliser expressive. but then, eloquence speaks the whole stuff. and in the voice persons box, only eloquence varients appear. so am I doing something wrong or missing something?@post 10: yep, I have vocaliser 2.2.1 installed.

Mmm...Ah. First, remove the parentheses around your if statement. That is not required for this kind of statement right  now (unless its a very long statement). Second, remove the colon after your print statement and put it after the else. Third, divide the statement into multiple lines, i.e.:if number==1:

     print('good bye')You also should not indent your else. This isn't a part of the if block and your code isn't inside another block.

Something that really helped me learn the language was playing text based games. Back then the software Quest and games for it from textadventures.co.uk were still pretty accessible, but that changed a while back. I'm not even sure if you can still download the games by this point, but they can be played on the website.MUDs also helped quite a bit.I didn't really understand most of what I read in the games, but was able to gather enough information from the words I recognised to figure out most of what was going on. Listening to people speak it helps a lot too, in regards to learning word order or how sentence structure generally works.Not sure I really have much more than that to offer, but I wish you good luck with it. Learning languages can be fun.

Yes I am indeed still around, lol.I can't think of anything in the game that would cause an idle player to walk forward on it's own, to leave the safe zone.  If anything, I would attribute this to something physically interacting with the computer in some way.  If someone, for example, bumped up against the laptop it could trigger the touch screen to read it as a right-click, walking the player several steps forward.  I'm thinking it would have to be something like that, and not some hidden bug in the actual software of the game.  If it existed as a game bug, it should have been popping up hundreds or thousands of times since the last time the game was updated.  It's been a long time without any code changes to the game, and the player base has put in over a million hours of play time on the current version.Now it's possible this happens to players but no one has ever brought it up in the past year, but I'd be pretty surprised to learn that, haha.Fabiano, if I've failed to reply to an email of yours, then I apologize.  I've been answering Swamp related emails pretty regularly, especially over the past 3 or 4 weeks.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but when I edit the savedlng file as directed, the program won't run. It gives me a fatal error detected message. I've tried writing both en and English using upper and lower case for the first letter, but I can't seem to get it to work. I know that's what the issue is, though, because when I leave the file alone and run it with the default language, it does run. I suppose I could use the Translate NVDA add-on to test it, but if someone could tell me how they got it to run, that would be great. Thanks.

Yea, we expect too much, we are so negative because we are tired of stupid and simple sidescrollers and because new devs never heard of internal private testing? This is the kind of stuff you call  alpha, not finished, not ready for public and so on. It's not the kind of stuff you post to impress others. Even  if I ignore this guy's past completely, what's the point? When you base the game on another source, you have to make a lot of changes before you post it. Before that, you invite testers to help you, then you can release the game. People need to stop getting excited because they change a few lines, add a feature and are like oh hey this is ready for posting now. No it's not. Did you ever see a successful developer starting out like that? Everybody can do this while learning programming, but there is no need to post this publicly. @22 if you are so easily offended, then perhaps development is indeed not for you, because it is not just coding. These guys who are like oh be positive give him a chance probably never developed something outside of the blind community. If you did, you would know that people wont give you a chance, they will write honestly about your program. If it's garbage, it's garbage. If it's excellent, it's excellent. Imagine yourself developing audio games in this small community, and one day you develop a general purpose program and post it publicly. If you are used to this forum, you will expect much more positive feedback, and when you don't get it you will no longer be motivated to develop. This is why I believe everybody's honest opinions about a game should be accepted. Not everybody can develop. It takes a huge amount of patience.

Wow. Reading stuff like this reminds me how much of a newbie I really am. If this is the kind of thing the developers went through, I can understand why they decided to pull the plug. Note, I said Understand, not Approve. And the way they did it was really shameful. Not even a short I can't take this Sh*t anymore just ... gone. All of us who spent money on the game are left by the wayside without so much as a by your leave. I'll still say the game had potential, although why they chose to virtually copy almost every aspect of the Blind Legend's combat system is beyond me. A Blind Legend was a good game for it's day but even it's starting to show it's age, in my opinion. SO to use a combat system that's already dated, plus a trope that's already worn through, deserves constructive criticism. Of coruse, the fact the developers haven't responded to feedback of any sort constructive or otherwise, meant that this game was already doomed from the outset.Ok, enough rambling. Echoes of Levia, RIP. ANd for those hopefuls who imagine these developers are coming back with a new game, don't hold your breath. I doubt they would be trusted enough for anyone here to consider purchasing a game from them, especially if it's as operpriced as Levia was/

In regards to the space-faring races in a fantasy game, it is far from unheard of. In Dungeons and Dragons, (the grandfather of them all) there are a number of space-faring races that show up in medieval and early-modern style cultures. Some gnomes are spacefaring as are some elves. There are some super-intelligent space-faring orcs called "The scro" (stupid name yes but still makes my point)There are also space-faring dinosaurs people called Sauriels that show up in multiple settings, hippo-people who are gun-toting mercenaries called "the giff" Gith pirates that attack space-farers, weird spider-leeches called Neogi who are inter-planetary slavers, and even mind flayers sometimes travel through space, so it is far from unheard of that there are space races in Medieval settings. Hi.Well for assigning players for when they connect, you have the connect event in bgts manual.I don't really remember the syntax, but it should go something like this (asuming that you're taking care of logins and such):c* client try to connect to your server.* server receives the connection in the connect event.* take the peer_id from that connect_event (which is unique to each connection).* Create your player class with that peer_id, like p = Player(peer_id)* then add that to a global list, so you can get it later.That's the just of it.Hope it helps

I dont have a heros cal game so I dont have an idea how the training of stats work in there or dont know where they save the values representing the stats in that game. Whether in 2 bytes, 4 8, floatation etc etc. I think, you just have to try them all. Afterall, that is how hacking works right? The hackers should be patience. O and by the way, if you are using the unknown initial value to scan,, try to eliminate those valuse in your game that keeps changing all the time like the time for example. For so you have to alternate between, increase value, unchange value or decrease value depending on what you are searching for.

So I tried the demo and this is how it works:1. Hit enter on elements in the room, even if they are not links or buttons, they are all clickable and do stuff.2. To get back to a menu before the one you are in, putting NVDA in input mode and pressing right arrow seemed to do the trick.

If one decides to make a project open-sourced and many people downloaded it, they can't (or actually shouldn't) take down that one version and/or sue those who distribute it since they got it from the main developer who decided by their own will to make it open-source, just like people playing with old versions of Ultra Power or The Killer that come packaged with server applications (not that I'm interested in either game or even in looking at RTR's code, not even in a million years). Anyway, Talon is the one who knows what should and should not be done regarding HIS titles.

Skype 8 is quite okay I guess. The only problem I have is I can't use end to jump to the last message. I know there's an option to jump to the last message but it just reads the last message, doesn't put you at the last message in the list of messages so you have to hold down arrow till you get there and I find that annoying, well a bit. Other than that it's fine for me you can just press NVDA space and then you can do all things. But if your using the Skype 8 that comes with Windows things will be a little bit different. Well I haven't used the one that comes with Windows 10 that much so I cant tell you that much about it

SO there are 2 things that I am talking about. The first is assigning players as they join the server. I don't know how to do that. The second is telling who's turn it is. I have the second part down, here is what I did.int play=0;players[play].turn=true;this means it is player 0's turn. Player 0 takes their turn.players[play].turn=false;play+=1;players[play].turn=true;now it is player 1's turn. And the cycle continues. TO wrap back to player 0, if(play>maxplay)play=0;Is this a good turn system? It works, but is there a better way? And how do I assign players when they first get connected?

Well Chrome blocks the downloads from there. Well I don't use that website too much so I don't mind unblocking with each time I have to download something. But I can understand how much annoying it is for those who use the website a lot. I still don't understand why would they block it in the first place but it also has some audio files as far as I know so not all of it is games edit I just tried to download an audio file of the same website and it worked well so the problem is only with games.
