Hey all. So I definately seem to have jumped the gun on the sparrow i.d. I
rarely carry a field guide with me these days and certainly didn't expect to
find anything I couldn't I.D. while looking for the kingbird. I can honestly
say that I haven't seen this plumage before though. There were
I did not refind the Brant. I looked along most of the rocky waterfront in the
park. I don't think they are still around... perhaps they moved on to Marie
Curtis Park or beyond... Ratray's Mash? There would be little point to looking
for them in the morning to those of you whom emailed askin
st to the eastern bay.

I'm posting this for Andrew Keaveney. There was a male hooded warbler this
morning singing at the large bowl in Sam Smith park. This was seen at around 10
a.m.

(not in the park proper) next to actual Lakeshore Dr. Parking is from the
parking lots nearest the park entrances reach by following Kipling south of the
lakeshore.

at Brown's Line and continue south to Lakeshore. Go west on Lakeshore about 2
blocks and turn left just before bridge. Parking area is south of Lakeshore,
again on east side of Etobicoke Creek.

Directions: Humber Bay Park East is found at the foot of Park Lawn. It is the
southern extension of Park Lawn Rd. (below Lakeshore Blvd.) that winds its way
into the large parking lot (stay right after Lakeshore Blvd.)

ourtland on Hwy #3 and continuing south on HWY 59 which eventually brings you
right along the inner bay at Long Point. Big Creek Marsh is opposite the bay
and there is a small parking area on the west side of 59. I suggest birding
from the second (north

Hey all. Just wanted to point out that perhaps our friend the Northern
Wheatear never even made it off of Wolfe Island. When I was viewing on
Saturday evening with my girlfriend Sarah we saw several American Kestrels,
a Merlin and many Northern Harriers within binocular view or a quarter mile
s not seen all day yesterday till our sighting despite many individuals
devoting quite a bit of time to it.

Hey all. Finally nailed the Razorbill as it sat quietly in front of a
fishing boat just in the centre of the current. The fisherman had no idea
what he was looking at... what a shame...
About 5 of us left the bird at around 4pm.
