Hello, I am wondering how I would know when scallops are done?
My cousin made a good recipe with them however I do not know how she
figured out how they were done.
Thanks.

Hi, Carla,
The recipe says 375. I would check them after 25 minutes depending on your
oven; they may take longer.
Hope this helps.

Marilyn, here's the one I made yesterday for dinner.
I got it from the internet some time ago.
It's good!
But I dice the onion, rather than slice it.
QUICK AND EASY STROGANOFF AND NOODLES
Ingredients:
. 1 pound lean thin steak, cut in strips
. 1 medium onion, sliced
. 1 clove garlic, minced
.
I used stewing beef yesterday because I had no steak.
It just took a little longer to brown it, but it still turned out good.
Later.

No it isn't. Wax paper is not meant to be used in the oven.

Subject: [CnD] Parchment Paper?
Hi,
Is parchment paper the same as Waxed Paper?
Thanks.
From Wikipedia
Parchment paper and bakery release paper, are cellulose-based papers
that are used as a disposable non-stick surface intended for use in
baking. Both are also called bakery paper.

This is all true, but the problem I have is first to get it to fit the pan.
I am not at all good at cutting straight with scissors.
Secondly, since it is on a roll, like waxed paper, it tries to roll up on me
when I place it on the pan; any tips or tricks for these problems. I usually
don't use
That's why I use aluminum foil. I've never used parchment paper.

Hi all,
This is what I do. I get the end of the paper, and put that on the
sheet while still on the roller. I put something on top of that end so
itwill stay put. Then, I roll out the paper until I get to the other
edge of the sheet or pan...whatever I'm using. Then, I put something

Hi all,
I may be using the wrong word, but I am thinking of the
topping/filling made, usually, with butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar,
usually used to top coffee cake and other similar desserts. I have
also used it as a filling in banana bread.
Anyway, is there a way to make it with no butter? I
Scallops can be cooked a little past doneness without getting tough, unlike
shrimp. Also, they can be eaten raw. So, as long as they are hot all the
way through and feel firm, you're okay.
The big sea scallops take about 4 or 5 minutes if you are cooking them on
high or medium high in a
Hi all,
Reading Alex Hall's email reminded me that I have been wanting a
recipe for streusel. I heard that it was awesome...and I want to make
it. Oh, and the instructions for the German way to make it would be
prefered. Thanks!

How about this:
Put the pan you want to fit the paper into in the proper position (right
side up).
Place the pan onto the paper, leaving about an inch border along the sides.
Before removing the pan from the paper, pull the paper roll toward you and
make a fold the length of the paper.
GRANDMA'S GERMAN STREUSEL COFFEE CAKE
2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/3 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
Blueberries, nuts or chopped apples
TOPPING:
1/3 c. white sugar
1/3 c. brown
If you are making cookies and baking them at 375, bake for ten to
twelve minutes. Chocolate chip cookies are the kind of cookie I bake
most often. If you are making them into bars, however, then check
them between twenty to twenty-five minutes.
