A tip for doing French toast in the toaster oven.
No water is needed.
I usually have five strips per serving.
Place the strips on the grid.
Set the oven to 350 on the bake feature for roughly ten to fifteen minutes.

Sounds like you put the rice in the greased pan and spread it out. The
liquids go on top of that and the steak goes on top of everything. That
way, the rice cooks relatively quickly, and you don't need extra liquid.

I never remove the bones from canned salmon either. I need all the calcium I
can get from natural food sources, and those soft bones are a good source
