My favourite web browser is Opera 10.10 which I use when visiting this forum. However, I have a small problem when a post contains pictures: Sometimes they are too wide to fit in the Opera window, and Opera refuses to show a horizontal scrollbar especially in this forum (see attached screenshot).

You can assign static IP addresses to the Radio, Touch and Controller. However you could also probably resolve this issue at your router. Set aside a range in your address space for static IP addresses and set your computer and VMs to static addresses rather than relying on DHCP. --

Hi, Most routers will allow you to set an IP address for a specific MAC address. I use a Netgear Router, and it assigns the same address to any device I have set it to. Look under Attached Devices to get the MAC, then look under IP Assignments. Add the IP you want, add the MAC for the device,

SBS doesn't scan for players. A new player on the network sends out a broadcast packet looking for servers. Any and all servers respond. The player will then connect to the server (and remember the server it connected to...). If you're talking about the webui, it may get a bit confused

Andrew, It actually had nothing to do with Vortexbox. Infact, I love the concept. It was my lack of linux skills that was the hurdle. I couldn't get any pci card (I also tried an Echo Audio card) to be seen by Vortexbox. Any suggestions would be helpful as I really would love to use it. --

On the Configure Vortexbox Player page, I only see my motherboard's onboard audio (regular and HDMI in my case). The RME or Echo cards never show up in the ALSA device list Is there another place I should be looking? -- durufle
