Not really , the squeezebox boom has it as it has built in speakers , but not any line level squeezebox since sb1. That was really a property of the chip used in slimp3 sb1 . boom has an extra DSP chip that also does the xover etc. Touch, SB3 and Transporter uses more hifi oriented DAC chips ,

If you use the mip integration , is not LMS simply importing the mip dB. a way may be to imply delete the whole mip dB file and let mip do a fresh scan ? Is not mip's tag support a bit limited compared to LMS ? But hen again if you want to use it you have to make the best of it.

If a file has several tag formats it could have different content in the different tags . In mp3tag if a file has flac and id3v1 for example . But this should also show in the extended tag menu . If you want to nuke the dB completely you could clear LMS cache folder, then the all dB files

All settings that are on the player itself will be affected ,applets and all . So it will be the setup routine again . there is a use case when it s ones own fault , using DTS or AC3 encoded WAV or flac files and use crossfade... Can happen in a random playlist if you have such files .
