I don't think Slimserver is bad, in fact I think it is quite amazing in what it does and the number of formats it supports. The web interface performance seems to be the issue that people complain about. For example look at Mouse it is fast because it offloads the client functionallity but still

Thanks, setting the COMPILATION=1 helped. It removed most of the other albums from the list. But I still see that SlimServer claims that albums with several artists (like live concerts with guest artists) also have the Compilation: Yes even if this tag isn't set... no big deal, just strange.
